"The bed and breakfast is located on the second floor of a historic building in the old town, conveniently placed within short walking distance to the tourist sites, bars and restaurants. We arrived by train and the property is a 15 minute walk from the station. We think that there are only a handful of rooms, and so there is a real intimate feel to the property. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout and our deluxe room was spotlessly clean, well maintained, having the best shower of our trip (to date). The breakfast (included) was worthy of a mention, being served on the terrace, overlooking a square, with fresh coffee, juice, fruits, eggs and a fabulous array of pastries. I’d definitely recommend this for your stay in Lecce."

"We had a lovely Private Room with relaxing outdoor pool in the annex. The service charge was never disclosed until checkout. No problem with it but it is on the total bill and we also left tips along the way. We had to remind the staff several times to give us and replenish the pool towels. The room has a few issues that should be corrected. The wardrobe furniture is cheaply constructed with doors that stick and are frequently off their hinges. We had trouble getting our items out of the wardrobe several times. The sofa is old and shabby with a strange leather divider keeping it in place. The large heavy entry hall doors have fallen and now scrap terribly on the stone entryways. Breakfast is quite limited and the additional selections at additional cost are also very limited. The breakfast servers are very good and they work hard. The Massages were good but no water or tea were offered after. Just a goodbye. Don’t miss the rooftop bar at the Palazzo especially at sunset. Aldo the bartender is amazing and friendly and was the highlight of our stay. The front desk and hospitality staff were extremely responsive and helpful."

"The whole experience was fabulous from being greeted initially shown the room and shown around the facility , access to the museum whenever, and a free individual tour of museum , which extended to the two of the othrr facilities they have within a few hundred yards . the room of which I uploaded a few photos was supreme my only little grumble would be liquid soap rather than soap bars "

"We spent six nights at La Fiermontina and loved every moment. This was a great base to stay and explore Puglia. The staff and their service were exceptional — a huge thank you to Mathias, Sam, Sara, and the two Ms for looking after us. We appreciate your assistance with our special requests, nothing was too much trouble, and the restaurant recommendations and tips for our drives around Puglia really helped us experience the best of the region. Our room was next to the beautiful garden where breakfast was served each morning. We loved our lazy siestas with the bathroom door fully open to take in the garden view. The sunsets from the rooftop were spectacular — we took so many photos of the golden light over Lecce! We also really enjoyed spending time in the rooms upstairs surrounded by all the art — everything felt relaxed, stylish, and full of character. We would highly recommend La Fiermontina — your home away from home in Lecce."

"What a stunning property…. The aesthetics at this hotel are incredible. We loved everything about the hotel, the grounds, the pool, the breakfast in the courtyard each morning, the San Gelsomino suite with the soaring ceilings. "We stayed in the Lady Astor Suite for 4 nights in July 2025 and couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay. The room is very grand and luxuriously appointed, with a very comfy bed and good pillows. I especially loved sitting in the historic marble vanity area to put on my makeup every day. The entire hotel is a treat to stay in; you really feel like you’ve gone back in time and are a house guest in an ornate palazzo. But the most memorable part of our stay was how friendly and helpful all of the staff were. Sarah in reception helped us with numerous reservations, Aldo at the rooftop bar made us delicious craft cocktails every night, and our server (whose name I forgot to ask) at their delicious breakfast was always a charming, bright start to our day. Finally, the porters were all so quick and friendly about getting our car for us — it made taking little beach trips in the area so easy. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Lecce."
