Mulroy Woods Hotel

Mulroy woods is a lovely hotel. All staff are so friendly and always give a hello when passing. I have stayed here a couple of times and always pleased. We had breakfast each morning of the usual breakfast. You can ask for food that is not out. Eg. Poached boiled eggs and porridge. They do have a breakfast menu that we were only given on one morning when a different waitress was on duty so we knew we could ask for the above. The room was clean and has tea and coffee. Lovely towels but facecloths in the bathroom would have been a nice touch. I will definitely stay again. The hotel was expensive(to make up for lack of guests) and quiet, I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the refugees that are living in the back of the hotel and it's putting people off? We had dinner in the hotel on the first night as we arrived after 7pm. I wouldn't bother the Food in the bar is not good and expensive. BINGO on Tuesday night is great fun. The room was very hot even with the windows open. Lidl supermarket is only up the road. Burger jacks is good, large portions for hungry sightseeing tourists. The narrow quarter in Kerrykeel is a must also.

We had another amazing stay at this hotel. We didn't want to leave today. The staff just make it. They go above and beyond to ensure we are happy but most of all they made a great effort with our four year old son. A special thanks to Caroline the manager who made us feel so at home and couldn't do enough for us. Thanks also to Shauna on the desk who served us with a smile at all times. Food as usual was exceptional, Michaela and Tina simply couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely return to this hotel in the near future. Looking forward to it already. Well done Mulroy woods 👌

The people are really nice. The breakfast was a full breakfast cooked to order

Very good, nice staff and management. Manager described it as a happy family. Food good , Restaurant food good and prices reasonable. Would stay again

We had a lovely stay here over St Patricks weekend. We ate at the hotel and had the bar menu on Saturday and then Sunday Lunch. Breakfast both mornings was also lovely. The food overall was first class. The room was spotless and warm. Bed very comfortable. We have booked to go back later in the year.

Just back from a two night stay at this hotel. Staff are amazing. My son is moderate with autism and they all went above and beyond to make sure he felt at ease. A special mention to Tina in the bar who was so friendly and helpful. Michaela served us also and she could not have been nicer. The staff really make this place. Sinead on reception was so helpful and friendly too. Food was amazing. I would stay in this hotel again in a heartbeat. There were a few about but not too busy but we prefer that.
