Good location, nice view of the St. Lawrence river and Isle auz Coudres. Rooms aren't air conditioned but there are fans. Fireplaces for colder months. Restaurant on site and chocolate store across the street. Good gas station across the street too. Owner Operators (brother and sister) are friendly and attentive. We did have an issue with the room we reserved so missed out on the balcony, which is almost a must in the hot summer months. (They apologized and made it up to us)

We spent 2 nights in this Authentique hostel which lives up to its name! Friendly and welcoming owner and decent food. On the other hand, big disappointment in the room with bad bedding, pillows at the end of their rope, non-blackout curtains, bathtub at the foot of the bed (surprising nonetheless) and broken tiles in the small bathroom which has a toilet and sink . I'm not talking about the insulation which is bad! But we did not choose this establishment having gone through an agency. I don't know how much the room cost and if the price is consistent. We still had a beautiful view and our stay went well.

We spent one night in this charming family inn. The owner is welcoming and very friendly. Room 3 that we occupied offers a magnificent view of the river. Small balcony to enjoy the landscape. Clean room and quality bedding. Originality: the bathtub is in the bedroom! Very good and complete breakfast. Dinner menu: choice and very good. I highly recommend this step!

A 5-course dinner to complete this sweet moment. I highly recommend visiting the website. Everything is there and perfectly reflects the charm of the place. Hostel well located in the village and in the region. Beautiful view of the river and Île aux Coudres. No staff available for reception when we arrived. Country room. Charming balcony but small and very close to neighbors. The bath-shower is in the bedroom. The shower (old) needs adjustment (the shower is laborious and the water temperature varies a lot, very difficult to wash your hair). Quality bedding. Charming restaurant with beautiful terrace. Correct food. However, the service leaves something to be desired in the evening (very long wait before having water or an aperitif, starter served at the same time as the main course, never had our wine). The staff is nice but overwhelmed. The lunch included in the price is very basic. Overall we had an ok stay, but we won't be returning to this place.

Nous n'avons pas logé à l'Authentique Auberge, mais nous y avons soupé. Nous avons été très satisfaits. L'ambiance est agréable, nous avons été bien reçus et le plat, du saumon, accompagné d'une salade et de pommes de terre gratinées au fromage, était délicieux. N'hésitez pas à y aller !

Jolie petite auberge qui porte bien son nom. Tout y est authentique, l'accueil chaleureux et bienveillant, la chambre cocooning, originale avec sa baignoire, sa cheminée, sa superbe vue sur le fleuve, le petit-déjeuner délicieux. Nous y avons dîner et nous avons savouré notre repas dans la bonne humeur. Merci pour cette générosité et cette simplicité, nous y étions bien.
