"Stayed for one night with family as a last minute decision to stay in Leukerbad overnight. Great location in heart of town, but I wouldn't return due to a couple of frustrations. What we loved: The location of the hotel is superb, right in the heart of Leukerbad, incredible views and with walking access to everything we wanted to do when there. There was a party right outside the hotel in the centre of town which went on until 3am which shows how central this is (not the hotels fault)! The spa facilities were also great, incredibly clean and easy to use. If you are travelling with children though I recommend you choose an alternative hotel with a bigger traditional pool which are available in Leukerbad. Finally, the buffet breakfast was superb on site. What we disliked: Firstly, we are not at all demanding with hotel stays but there were a few things I wouldn't expect in a hotel that is CHF400 per night. 1: The cleanliness of the room was not great. On arrival we dropped a phone under the bed and when we looked to get it out there was a huge amount of dust and dirt there. This was the same under the sofa bed in the lounge too. 2: We asked whether we could have a couple of additional sachets of coffee and creamer given we had traveled hours to get there and wanted another coffee in the room and were told no! This surprised me and so we had to head out to get a drink! 3. There is no air conditioning in the rooms. This region of Switzerland gets really hot in the summer and overnight, even though temperature was only moderately warm the rooms were sweltering and kids struggled to sleep."

"The hotel is showing its age and desperately needs a renovation. The room still had carpeting and no balcony. On the plus side, it has rooms with twin beds that can be separated. The room size is good. The hotel also has its own spa area with a small steam room and sauna, as well as indoor and outdoor pools. An underground passage leads to the thermal baths, which is great because you can simply walk over in your bathrobe. The breakfast buffet is standard. Why a Swiss hotel offers mozzarella for breakfast instead of a fine mountain cheese is beyond me. The coffee comes from a fully automatic machine, so it's not for coffee lovers. But otherwise, it has everything you need. There's a nice lobby/bar area with a fireplace, perfect for starting or ending the evening. The bar opens at 4 pm."

"The owner, manager, and staff are all very friendly. The room is new and very clean. They say it's been about 2 years since they rebuilt it, and the bedding is also new. The breakfast is delicious and the orange juice is great because you can grind the oranges yourself. Hot springs are close by, as are cable cars and ski resorts. In the evening, the restaurant was full as well. Highly recommended!"

"فعلا مدهش! إذا كان لديك جولة إندي وقادرة على التزلج في لوكرباد، هذا هو المكان للاقامة. أتينا مع أطفالنا الثلاثة وشعرنا الكامل في المنزل. أصحاب ودية لا يصدق وآخذ انتباهك إلى كل حاجة. الموقع مثالي. يقع ترام التزلج على بعد مسافة قصيرة سيرا على الأقدام ويمكنك التزلج مباشرة إلى الفندق (تمر النفق المتحرك في الأسفل عبر نفق !). ثم يمكنك الاستمتاع ببعض النبيذ المتواضع في بار سفاري Apres في الخارج. الطعام في المطعم لذيذ والأفضل في البلدة. لا أستطيع أن أقول أشياء جيدة بما فيه الكفاية... واحد من أفضل الفنادق التي مكثت فيها في أي وقت مضى!"

"Lovely, calm place to relax. within walking distance from the bus station so easy to reach by transportation public. "The hotel is in serious need of renovation. There were only fifteen people staying and so was rather ghost like. We were given rooms on the top floor which were small, with tiny windows looking out on the roof with no view which was a shame as other floors were obviously available. The bathroom has chipped tiles and cracked basin. The breakfast is a good spread but everything has been sitting for ages so cooked things are dried out. The bar is permanently closed and there is no sitting area, and the pools although hot, the jets are no longer working. It is a shame as it has so much potential."

"The hotel is very cozy, very old and authentic Swiss like. Inside the two buildings you can see some of the things that were used long ago like some old metal pints, skiis, sledges etc. There are three restaurants within the hotel. We had pizzas from real wood burning oven. They were the best ones we had in a long time. Rooms are cozy and comfortable with a lot of wood and stone decor. Breakfast is abundant and fits everyones needs. There is also a machine which males fresh orange juice! All in all beautiful two buildings renovated in a unique style mixed with contemporary design and old swiss alpine wood decor. Definitely worth visiting either for dinning or staying and enjoying a weekend in Leukerbad."
