Argyle Hotels in Lijiang

It was a wonderful coincidence. First, I was booked here as part of a group tour. This time, I was traveling with my family by road, and I thought parking was convenient. There happened to be a suitable room available. I'd booked a twin, but upon arriving at the front desk, they saw I was traveling with children and an elderly family member and upgraded me to a deluxe twin for free. It was wonderful. The hotel is a bit far from the ancient city, but the front desk even helped me get a car there (they said parking was expensive there, but a taxi was convenient and not far away, saving me money). The hotels are clustered together, all with similar styles. I chose the brand first because I'd stayed there before, and second because I was confident it wouldn't be too bad. Although I booked a rate without breakfast, my family wanted breakfast, so I bought it on the spot. The breakfast was quite generous, and despite the large crowd, it was served quickly. Overall, my stay was fantastic. Five-star rating!
