Thirty Ideals Inn (Lijiang Branch)

Location is good, less than 1 km from old town area. There are many eateries by the hotel. They serve afternoon tea which comes with tea, a flower biscuit and some peanut and will deliver to your room. Breakfast is choice of A or B which is a bowl of rice noodles or a tray consisting a piece of corn, a small bun, sweet potato, pumpkin, fried dough, a piece of broccoli, and an egg. Additionally, there is soy milk and bread, the blueberry and strawberry jam are delicious. The front desk staffs are very helpful. Highly recommended. We took the DD to the hotel from the train station which cost about 17RMB, and the hotel provided free transportation to the airport as we stayed 3 nights.

Our stay was absolutely superb from start to finish. The room was not only tidy and beautiful but also equipped with smart, convenient facilities. The large projector was a particular highlight, making our movie nights feel like a real cinema experience. What truly impressed us was the excellent soundproofing; even after several days, we never heard a sound from other rooms. The service was impeccable—every staff member was incredibly kind and always wearing a smile. The included amenities were a lovely touch. We enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings and the delightful afternoon tea, which featured complimentary flower cakes and other snacks. The only very minor note is that the air conditioning was a little tricky to control, but it was a small issue in an otherwise perfect stay. We can't recommend this place highly enough!

The hotel staff, especially Yaya, was very kind and helpful throughout my trip. The breakfast was tasty, and I especially enjoyed the sweet soup. When I checked out, the hotel even gave me a box of rose tea as a gift—a thoughtful gesture that made me feel truly welcomed. Thank you for the warm hospitality!
