The accomodation was lovely and well designed. Highly recommend if you want to stay at a more traditional style homestay. The owner picked us up from the airport, helped with our itinerary and gave us food recommendations. We loved the view from the rooftop and the staff were super friendly - and also helped with our laundry. Photos are from the rooftop!

My stay at the Floral Hotel was an absolute highlight of my trip. What sets this hotel apart isn't just its great location, but the incredible kindness of the owners. From the moment I arrived, the service was above and beyond. Because cars can't enter the ancient town directly, the boss himself came out to meet me and personally helped with my luggage—a gesture I truly appreciated after a long journey. The warmth didn't stop there. His wife was equally wonderful. Knowing I had an early tour to Yu Long Shan, she kindly walked with me in the early morning to make sure I found the meeting spot without any trouble. This level of personal care and attention is something you rarely find. The hotel's location is perfect. It's nestled on a calm and quiet street, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep, yet it's only a few minutes' walk from the bustling main commerce street. You get the best of both worlds: tranquility at night and easy access to shops and restaurants. I cannot recommend the Floral Hotel highly enough. If you're looking for a place that feels like a home away from home, look no further.
