We had an absolutely wonderful experience during our 3-night stay at Lijiang Lyon Hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and treated like family, especially by the incredibly friendly lady boss, who made us feel at home throughout our 3 nights. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The free laundry service was a lovely bonus. We enjoyed a hearty and delicious breakfast in the hotel too. The location is perfect, with Hei Long Tan and Lijiang Ancient town just a short walk away. There are plenty of great food options nearby as well, making it super easy to explore the area. A huge plus was the free transport service (3 nights included a pick-up/drop-off). Overall, we had an incredible stay and would highly recommend Lijiang Lyon Hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang. The combination of great service, welcoming staff, and prime location makes it a standout choice!

The hotel's ambiance was truly elegant, with thoughtful little details creating a wonderfully warm and inviting atmosphere. Our family room was cozy and comfortable, clearly designed with children in mind – they even provided kids' bathrobes and dedicated toiletries. The beds were very spacious, making it ideal for families with two young children. Breakfast offered a rich variety of options and was served for an extended period. The service was impeccable from start to finish. We were even given a small farewell gift upon check-out, which was a lovely touch. All in all, a truly satisfying experience!

The trip to Yunnan was a pleasant one. After arriving in Lijiang, I stayed at the Lige Hotel. The hotel service was indeed very good. The staff at the front desk and breakfast room were very polite. The environment of this hotel is also good, and transportation is very convenient. Friends who come to Lijiang for tourism can try to experience this hotel.

The location of the inn is easy to find. It is next to the West Gate of Heilongtan and close to the ancient city. The owner upgraded the room for free when we arrived. There is an elevator, which is very convenient for going up and down the stairs. The breakfast is just a little simple. Everything else is very good.

This is simply the best place to stay, to explore Lijiang Old Town and surrounding areas. * Overall - beautiful boutique hotel based on traditional Naxi architecture. Looks like a traditional inn, but is actually new and modern. * Rooms - spotlessly clean, with all modern facilities. Light contemporary decor. * Benefits - excellent breakfast, complimentary welcome drink, complimentary welcome fruit platter, complimentary afternoon tea & desserts, complimentary nightcap plum wine and light dessert. Daily complimentary laundry. Unlimited soft drinks in room fridge. * Service - this is where the Dublin really stands out. The best service we've experienced in China, and most likely the best ever. The staff all work as a well trained team to make you feel at home from the moment you check in. A special shout out to Xiao Du! * Location - Another great standout. Literally steps from the front door (next to the small restaurant on the right) there are a set of steps down to the canal. From there, just follow the canal to the Water Wheel and Lijiang Old Town north gate. Along the way is a large lively night market. You can also step down to the main road just outside and walk down a lively street full of food options. Pro Tip : Ask hotel staff how to get to the restaurant that is in the last picture below. Delicious Naxi food! Overall : Best value, best location and best service in Lijiang!

The hotel is 10 min walking distance away from the old ancient town of Lijiang, there are some restaurants around which are very nice. The Black Dragon Pool is 5 min away which is very nice. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly although they couldn’t speak English. The rooms have new and modern amenities which might seem nice but in our experience, some of them don’t work well or maintenance is required. The bathtub leaked water all over the room and the bathtub walls were filled with water which made the bathtub very cold. Some lights and appliances were not working. However overall a nice stay, nice views on the third floor

The duplex is a proper duplex, not some attic pretending to be one, hahaha. The bathroom facilities are very convenient, and the soft-light tiles are immaculately kept. Unfortunately, I was afraid of altitude sickness and didn't dare wash my hair or take a bath, so I didn't get a full experience. The afternoon tea was special, with baked potatoes served with yogurt, coffee, and juice. Then, looking out at the vast blue sky and white clouds from the rooftop—this is the feeling of bliss in Lijiang! The housekeeper was attentive and responsive to every request. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the room were like a dynamic painting, especially when the sunlight filtered through the leaves onto the ground-floor bedside, truly allowing me to experience the healing power of nature.

If you're visiting Lijiang Old Town and worried about struggling to navigate the cobblestone streets with your luggage, choosing Xitang Yunxi Hotel (Big Waterwheel Branch) is definitely a wise decision! As a hotel under the HITONE INN brand, the quality is guaranteed, and this experience completely exceeded my expectations. 🚗 Incredibly Convenient Location: The hotel's biggest highlight is its location! It's right next to the Big Waterwheel at the entrance of the Old Town, just a few steps away, completely avoiding the embarrassment and fatigue of dragging your suitcase around the Old Town. Whether checking in on your first day or leaving on your last, it was incredibly easy. At the same time, it's a core landmark of the Old Town, very close to attractions like Sifang Street and the Bar Street, yet not as noisy as the deeper parts of the Old Town, perfectly balancing convenience and tranquility. 🏨 Worry-Free Choice: From check-in to room access, the entire process was professional and efficient. The hotel's design continues the brand's style, blending modern simplicity with Naxi charm beautifully. Both the public areas and rooms were impeccably clean and tidy. Our room had excellent soundproofing, and the mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, ensuring a good night's sleep. 💁 Thoughtful Service, Feeling at Home: The front desk and butler staff were well-trained, warm, and patient. Seeing our heavy luggage, they proactively helped us carry it to our room; when we asked about sightseeing routes, their suggestions were very helpful and practical, and they even reminded us of some tips to avoid common pitfalls. This standardized yet warm service made us feel particularly at ease and comfortable. 🍜 Surroundings and Breakfast: The hotel provides its own breakfast, with a wide variety of options, and the Yunnan rice noodles were authentic. Moreover, being located at the entrance of the Old Town, there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. In short, if you're looking for a hotel with a superb location, reliable service, and a place to easily start your Lijiang trip, Xitang Yunxi Hotel (Big Waterwheel Branch) is an absolute must-buy! It provided a perfectly comfortable ”base camp” for our trip, and I highly recommend it to everyone visiting Lijiang!

Stayed here for 4 nights and 3 days with a family of 4. Arrived at night 10pm+, and the staff of Ju She The House (Inn)were actively checking with us on where we are and if we would require any assistance in carrying the luggage’s to the inn. The room was beautiful, spacious and clean. And the customer service and support provided by the lovely staffs of Ju She was also top notch. They even made extra effort to help prepare some simple and early breakfast for us when we had days whereby we had to set off from the inn very early in the day to sightsee. They had a chat group that includes some staff of the inn, in which we could freely and easily request for any assistance when needed, and the staff were all very nice and polite when assisting us. They also had daily complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and a small Chinese dessert soup with reminders in the chat group, which was a very lovely and sweet addition to our stay at the inn. Will definitely come back to stay again when we come to yunnan for our holidays. Kudos to all the friendly and lovely staff at Ju She The House. :)

When we started to get into the hotel, we were all impressed with the atmosphere. It is full of art and high quality decoration. The front staff provided really good service during our stay from the first day of checking in until the day of checking out. The room we stayed is nice and clean with plenty of sunlight from the wide window. Bathroom and toilet is all modern. The hotel has two buildings. You can enjoy the rooftop view at the top of one of the hotel buildings. On the clear day, you can have a good photo with Yulong Snow Mountain as a background. The hotel is also in a walking distance to Lijiang Ancient Town with a lot of restaurants during the way. You can easily enjoy the lively ancient town and back to have a good and quiet sleep at the hotel. One of the best thing at the hotel that we really want to tell everyone is the breakfast. There are so many choices of the food that we can enjoy without boring for our 4 days at the hotel. Every famous food that we should have in Lijiang, we can find it here. We would like to tell that this hotel is one of the best hotels in our travelling life.
