Villa Barranco by Ananay Hotels

This is a lovely hotel set in two old colonial houses with beautiful gardens. The staff are very friendly, kind and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. Our room was well equipped with dressing gowns and slippers and they provide filtered water. There is additional filtered water and tea and coffee in the residents’ lounge area. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace and is a combination of buffet items and a choice of cooked items from a menu. The pancakes with maple syrup and fresh fruit were my favourite breakfast item from a month of hotel stays in Peru. They also made proper decaf coffee. Location wise the hotel is a two minute walk to the centre of Barranco which feels very safe and has some very nice restaurants and coffee shops. You can also walk to Miraflores in about 20 minutes. It’s a pleasant walk through a residential and commercial area. We also took an Uber into central Lima for a very cheap price which took about half an hour. I highly recommend this hotel and would 100% stay here again.

Really good boutique hotel, staff were very helpful, breakfast was good, bar on the roof had heaters to keep warm, and the room was a good size. The whole ambiance with books, coffee and seating let us relax. The location is lower than I would have liked and with the traffic and one way systems it added time to all journeys. But the local area had walks along the cliffs, and good local restaurants, shops and museums. No evening food available, which caused no problem with the local area.

Wonderful stay Fantastic stay . Staff were lovely and very friendly. We stayed in room 9 - master suite . Amazing room with a gorgeous bathroom and wonderful private balcony from where you can see the sea. Breakfast staff very accommodating and breakfast nice and adequate with fresh cooked eggs and small buffet.
