Porto Greco Village Beach Hotel

Das Essen, die Umgebung, das Personal und das gesamte Hotel waren einfach wunderbar. Mein Partner und ich haben gedacht es gibt einen Haken, es war zu schön um wahr zu sein, aber es gab nichts auszusetzen. Selbst nach unserem Check-Out um 11 Uhr, konnten wir uns noch am Pool die Zeit vertreiben, bis uns der Bus abholte.

Nous avons séjourné à l’hôtel Porto Village, qui se compose de deux parties : l'une rénovée et renommée « Momi », et l'autre, plus ancienne, est un peu laissée à l’abandon. Nous avons réservé un séjour de 8 jours à partir du 04/10/2024 via Corendon, et, à 66 ans, nous avons été particulièrement déçus par cette expérience. La partie non rénovée était dans un état de dégradation avancé. Notre chambre, située à l’étage, était accessible par un escalier en bois étroit et usé, tandis que le rez-de-chaussée était particulièrement sombre. Bien que nous disposions d’une grande terrasse, il n’y avait pas de porte pour y accéder, et nous devions enjambée une fenêtre pour en sortir. Les photos de l’hôtel sur le site de réservation étaient loin de correspondre à la réalité. En ce qui concerne l’hygiène, le service était décevant. Le ménage des chambres se résumait à un simple balayage, et le linge de maison n’a été changé qu’une seule fois (draps et serviettes). Nous avons également dû faire notre propre vaisselle (tasses et verres), ce qui est inacceptable dans un hôtel tout compris. La piscine était un autre point négatif. Elle se trouvait à l’ombre dès 12 h, ce qui limitait son utilisation pendant la journée. Quant au bar de la piscine, il ressemblait davantage à une bibliothèque qu'à un véritable espace de détente. L’offre d'alcools était très restreinte, avec uniquement du raki sec et de l'ouzo. Aucun raki sucré n'était disponible, alors qu’il existe bien d'autres alcools locaux qui n’étaient pas proposés ici. Un autre point frustrant a été l’accès restreint à la partie rénovée, Momi. En tant que clients de l’hôtel Porto Village, nous n'avions pas la possibilité de profiter de cette zone, ce qui a ajouté à notre insatisfaction. Les repas, servis dans le restaurant de la partie Momi, étaient également décevants. Le choix se limitait à 4 ou 5 plats différents, toujours les mêmes, et la nourriture était souvent trop cuite, voire brûlée. Une seule fois durant notre séjour, lorsque l’hôtel subissait un contrôle pour obtenir une étoile supplémentaire, nous avons eu droit à un meilleur choix de plats et à une qualité de nourriture acceptable. En résumé, cet hôtel représente l’une des pires expériences que nous avons eues. L’état de la partie non rénovée, le manque d’entretien, la qualité médiocre des repas et l’absence de services appropriés ont largement contribué à notre mécontentement. Nous ne recommanderions pas cet hôtel à d’autres voyageurs, d’autant plus qu’il ne correspondait en rien à ce qui était présenté dans les brochures.

Nice place overall Great patio overlooking the water at King Scorpio.That was where the four star rating should end and was also a real problem for noise it created going past 2am while right next door.Food was good although monotonous.Would have appreciated pita bread.Snack bar was mislabeled as a different name.Also served third grade meat in the gyros with plenty of fat and no vegetables.(a real shame for greek pride).All the other non greek foods were good however atbthis snack bar.

Hôtel bien situé, face à la mer (vue magnifique) et un peu excentré des bars et autres restaurants, donc plus calme. Le bar de l'hôtel en version tout inclus est splendide (king scorpio bar). La restaurant principale du complexe est excellente et variée (de tout : des spécialités locales aux basics). Le personnel est accueillant.

Wir waren hier sehr zufrieden und konnten eine sehr schöne und entspannte Zeit verbringen. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Von der Rezeption über die Bar und auch das Personal im Restaurant sind stehts freundlich. Die Putzfrau ist sehr aufmerksam und immer sehr freundlich und gut. Trotz Saisonende war das Essen sehr gut und das gesamte Hotelpersonal aufmerksam und immer hilfsbereit. Die Strandbar mit dem Manager der unglaublich ist und auch das Strandrestaurant sind sehr schön und immer wieder zu empfehlen. Einfach nur herzlich und schon fast familiäre Atmosphäre.

What a nice place! We had a family room with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It looked different to the pictures but since the Hotel has many different buildings it's just logical the Pictures in the ad don't show any possible room. Our room was really nice and quite big. As common in hot contries, it had a stone floor and thin linnen sheets. A warmer blanket was found in the wardrobe. 2 problems we had, it was the moskito season and the children got stung a lot. The Hotel staff was very helpful, giving us a moskito repellant lamp for the room and some soothing gel for the stings. The shower in the smaller bathroom had no wall or curtain, so the floor would get wet. But the floor towel was changed every day so it wasn't a big problem and we could still use the bigger bathroom to shower. The rooms were always clean and nice. No Idea what those complaints of others could be about. The hotel has 5 different pools, as usual in hot countiess, they are not heated. Great way to cool down when the sun is hot. We came in Oktober, the sea was quite warm, but the waves were so big that most of the beaches were wet. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the water wich is not too deep and despite the waves has no strong curtents. There are a few bays protected by stone barriers nearby, so bathing with no waves was possible as well. The hotel staff are just the best! They made wonderful Greek Mokka for us in the morning and always greeted the Kids in a special way. We arrived late in the evening so the first thing for them was to make sure we still got dinner, even after dinner time. We could ask for any help, they would do their best. The food was good, there was always a gigantic choice of salads, fruit, veggies and Greek specialties like Joghurt, olives, spices, cheese, sweets and cake. Breakfast was a huge variety of international tastes. Britisch, German, French and all in between. Lunch and Dinner always had different soups, fish, meats and veggies nothern and mediterranen style. There was always pasta and fries for the kids. Drinks were OK. There was a huge variety of non alcoholic drinks. Beer and wine were average but as expected for an "all inklusive" place, the coctails are not that good. No problem there, we don't go on vacation to get drunk. We would be happy to come back one day!
