Sea Breeze Hotel

Staff were great, and sent all the information we needed for our stay prior to check-in. They still ensured we had all the info we needed on arrival. All our interactions with the staff were positive throughout. I felt welcome and comfortable. We chose a sea-view room, and the views were lovely. Despite overlooking the road/pavement as well as the sea, this didn’t impact too much, as you’re slightly outside of the hustle and bustle (but just a few minutes’ walk into it!). You need a code to access out of hours, so that added to the feeling of safety. We paid for a late check-out due to a night flight and very high temperatures that day, and we weren’t pressured to check-out at any set time. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, the air con was amazing. But the TV was at the back of the room overlooking the single bed, which meant we couldn’t use it. The bathroom wasn’t quite as nice, and there was a bit of a stench coming from it. The sink is in the bedroom, right behind the bed meaning that any late night or early morning post-toilet hand wash was right at my head and woke me. They do offer a free drink if you hold off on a room clean (wasn’t applicable to our shorter stay) which I thought was a great idea, but I would have struggled to not have the bathroom cleaned for 3 days+. The hotel was super clean, bright, welcoming. Rooftop bar was lovely – but no-one was utilising it. So, if that’s your thing, you can enjoy some peace and quiet up there. And a very nice toastie for just 3 euros! There’s also a sun terrace on the 3rd floor. That’s the limit to the facilities, but it’s a small place and guess that’s part of the charm if you’re not looking for a resort.

Avoid rooms 888 and 889 The staff is really nice with a nice communication and service 10/10. But the room in the basement is just horrible. If you avoid rooms 888 and 889 your room should be nice. But 888 was really bad… lots of mosquitoes and humidity. We will never go back there and we don’t recommend.

Points positifs: Hôtel moderne et propre dans son ensemble. La localisation est très bonne et le personnel est très accueillant. Petit déjeuner copieux et assez varié. Points négatifs: Le ménage dans les chambres est aléatoire. L’aspirateur n’a pas été passé correctement (restes de sable et de cheveux) Le papier toilette n’est pas à jeter dans les toilettes mais dans la poubelle de la salle de bain. Dommage que celle-ci ne soit pas vidée tous les jours… N’espérez pas faire une grasse matinée, la lumière passe en dessous du rideau et à travers la porte de la salle de bain à partir de 7h 7h30. Concernant le « parking gratuit », il s’agit de places autour de l’hôtel non payant. Attention car nous nous sommes fait vandalisé notre véhicule à coup de clé.. (celle ci était bien évidement une voiture de location..)

Very comfortable room -- actually 2 rooms with bathroom facilities between. Had a water view which was nice. Very rough seas while we were there so quite dramatic. Wonderful breakfast buffet on the rooftop dining area, Something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the Greek Yoghurt and fruit, nuts etc. and the pastries. The DOT staff at the desk was also very helpful in arranging a couple of day tours and again printed the bus schedule for trips we took on our own.

The hotel was cozy and welcoming, with incredibly friendly staff and excellent amenities. The terrace is beautiful and the ocean view is breathtaking. Here, you can experience a stunning sunrise. Highly recommend for a perfect getaway!

Dit hotel is echt heel erg goed,alles is nieuw en modern.Ik denk het rustigst gelegen in Chersonisos en ligt pal aan zee.Het vliegveld van Heraklion ligt op 30 km dus Ideaal om je rondreis te beginnen ,je bent heel snel uit Chersonisos .De juniorsuites hebben vanuit je bed uitzicht op zee en die bedden zijn echt heel goed.Er is een inloopdouche en nog een extra bed.
