Dockside Aparthotel, BW Signature Collection

Upon arrival, the staff mentioned that I hadn't made the hotel payment. They informed me and showed me that the payment was done through trip.com. I was asked to contact trip.com myself. Luckily, the support service team was available and sorted out the issues within almost 30 minutes. And trip.com given compensation for the booking issue in Liverpool. The lady at the receptionist said that I need to collect breakfast from the receptionist every day. She also mentioned that it's very basic and not worth the cost. The pictures show the same breakfast given every day. There is always no staff at the reception as well. The Wi-Fi was the worst and always disconnected, and I couldn't connect. The room was not bad, but there was no housekeeping every day. They didn't provide coffee and toilet paper, and the fridge was spoiled. They only provided one roll of toilet paper when I asked for it, saying they would give it but didn't. On the second day, after exploring the town and returning to the hotel, the main door wasn't operating, and I couldn't go to my room. I waited outside in the cold weather for more than 30 minutes.

Great location. 2 bedroom both quiet & clean.  Just a little too soft for us about the mattress.

We booked this hotel for our anniversary (05/08/25) and it didn't fail. We booked a gorgeous two bedroom apartment, we laughed at the little quotes on the wall which made us laugh. We had a lovely view and spent some time stood on the balcony watching the rowers on the Wednesday morning. The staff were absolutely lovely and I couldn't praise them enough. We was left with complimentary tea, coffee and milk. We went to a few bars which was a 10 minute walk and just soaked in the atmosphere of the city. The beds were comfortable, staff lovely, plenty to do in the area, nice view and close walk to the city. We can't wait to come back again 5*

Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of April in a 2 bedroom apartment. The location is absolutely brilliant and we absolutely loved the views! The apartment was perfect. Lovely and spacious and had everything we needed. Away from the noise of the city centre but still only a short walk away. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we were able to leave our bags so we could make the most of our last day. The only criticism as mentioned by a couple of people now is the mattresses are super thin and you can feel every spring! If this was dealt with then it would be an absolutely perfect 5/5 stay! We would stay here again.

This was my second visit as I had been impressed with my previous stay, however was disappointed this time. Although clean, the apartment was significantly smaller with more of us staying, not as well equipped and limited seating for everyone. Having read other reviews and from experience, there seems to be great variety in standard. We weren’t supplied with enough towels and on asking the reception, they didn’t have any large towels spare, but gave a further 2 hand towels. I asked for an additional key as we were 2 couples but she told me that only some apartments have 2 keys. She did offer though that when we went out we could leave the key and they would let people in if we came home separately. The apartment was very warm, especially the smaller room with no window which made sleeping difficult as well as the uncomfortable beds. Opening the windows and doors made it quite noisy with bin emptying and the seagulls etc. there is ongoing building work but this didn’t cause us any disturbance. The staff are very friendly and accommodating as much as possible. It is in a very good location for accessing the city but think if I visit Liverpool again, will probably stay elsewhere which is a shame but do feel that they should be more honest about the current set up regarding building works as when you arrive you don’t really want to stay u til you get to your apartment. Parking is expensive but we did find some nearby parking (8bays) for £10/24hrs.

Stayed at Dockside Aparthotel in Liverpool recently and have a few mixed thoughts. On the plus side, the location is excellent—right by the docks and within easy reach of the city’s main attractions. The apartment itself was clean, modern, and well-kept, with a tidy layout and a nice feel overall. However, there were a few downsides that affected the stay. There seemed to be ongoing construction or unfinished work outside, which detracted from the atmosphere I also had a disturbed sleep due to mechanical noises outside the room, which I later realized it to be the lift operating. Also, the breakfast was very disappointing- We paid £7.00 extra thinking we were waking up to a cooked breakfast. Unfortunately, we were handed paper bags containing a cheap pot of porridge, a small yoghurt an apple & a flapjack. Personally I felt this was a bit of a joke. We should have been informed upon booking that there was no proper breakfast and we would not have paid the £7 pound each extra. Overall, it’s a nice place with great potential, but I’d suggest checking ahead to see if building work is still ongoing, and maybe skip the breakfast until they improve that side of things too. Based on the ongoing works & breakfast I am rating this an average.
