We're set in our own grounds with a large garden for you to relax in, and there are excellent transport links into the centre of Liverpool, perfect for business or pleasure. City of culture, home to two iconic football clubs, and the place where British pop music began. There's so much that's unique about Liverpool. If you're here in September, don't miss the Liverpool International Music Festival. When the music's over, come back to the hotel for some great food at our Table Table restaurant and a lovely comfy bed.

The place is tired and there are fag buts all around the outside. We checked in quite late and after booking a quad room had one small double bed. Shower pressure was poor. But it was clean and the bed comfy. The location is quite good with a train into the city 10 mins walk away and free parking on site.

After what happened that day (26th May) it was even more important that the service was what we would expect from Premier Inn - glad to say the lady on reception was a sight for sore eyes. Welcoming, understanding, efficient. Room was great. Beds comfy, shower excellent. The restaurant next door did us a great breakfast too. Why we always use Premier Inn because they are consistent wherever in the country you go. To rob a phrase from an old advert "does exactly what it says on the tin". Comfy bed, decent food - at a price point we can all get on board with. Big thanks to all concerned. Really convenient to get into City centre too. Roby station a 3 minute walk, 4 stops straight into Liverpool Lime Street.

The Receptionist on check in was not in the slightest bit welcoming. Our room was reasonably clean but the bathroom did t feel as clean with mouldy sealant around the shower. We had no shower gel in the bathroom and i hadnt taken any with me as i know Premier Inn usually supllies it. When we asked at reception for it to be topped up we were told very bluntly, they had none, no apology or anything. Our room overlooked the pub garden and it was very noisy at night with people shouting and being sick. Also noisy in the early morning with people shouting in the garden. Breakfast (continental) was good and restaurant staff friendly but the coffee was undrinkable. I won't be staying here again.

Lovely time spent here just a few minor hiccups. The reception staff were very friendly. The room was great - a standard premier inn room. However the shower gel was empty on arrival, wasn’t a big deal as we had brought a small bottle with us. We requested our room to be done on two occasions as they are not automatically cleaned anymore and on both occasions our room was missed and we had to go to reception for clean towels and replenish of coffee etc. again the staff were lovely and apologetic it was just awkward having to ask.

Very poor service and staff not that helpful given a dirty room first then moved to a room with a very noisy child above us noisy and up really early every day running around the room and when staff were told were not offered any room move or for staff didn't even talk with the family about the kids

The outside of the property could do with some TLC but once inside everything is to the expected standard of a Premier Inn, staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are good with very comfy beds. Breakfast is also really good and inexpensive for the food on offer.

Friendly, professional check in, with offer to dine. Clean and comfortable room. Bathroom was scrupulously clean. Delicious full English breakfast, with staff being knowledgeable about allergies. Car parking was floodlit and spacious.

very friendly and helpful staff. food very good and value for money have stayed here several times and always found it the same car broke down while we were there so had to book another night and was given a complimentary breakfast which they needn`t have done. well done Derby Lodge
