Beautiful setting and very involved and kind staff. I also consider the concept of Green Safaris very interesting; through your visit you contribute to the several ideologic purposes of Green Safaris . Such as good and free private schooling for the children of the staff and for the community. Also they provide in housing facilities for their staff. They really take good care of their people and the community. We spoke to the manager of Tongabezi Island and he said: "I started as a barman and now I am the manager. Green Safaris the best employer for all of us. "

It was all great; lodge, activities, people and services all with great smiles and so many surprises! Also the food was fantastic. Thank you Malemia and team, especially Moses and Emanuel for giving us a big smile every day! Food was great and sundowner cruise fantastic as trip to Vic Falls and walking rhino safari with Eddie.

We stayed from April 21 for three nights in Tongabezig. It was really fantastic, The hospitality of the staff was of a very high level and in the area we did great excursions. The lodge is located on the river Zambezi, each lodge has a private swimming pool, very luxurious to relax in the afternoon. The interior of the lodge was very atmospheric. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are of a very high level, we really enjoyed the high quality, compliments to the chef !! We were also treated to a number of culinary surprises, very nice. The hospitality of the staff is of a very high level, very friendly and focused on ensuring that every guest has a good stay. In the surrounding of the lodge we did a number of beautiful excursions, including a nice boat trip on the river Zambezi and a visit to the wildlife park, where we spotted the giraffe, elephants and the white rhino, very special. A visit to the Victoria Falls should not be missed. First a boat trip to Livingstone Island, from there, under expert guidance (also Green Safaris) to the falls, towards Angels Pool, what an amazing experience to lie in the flow of the waterfall, really great. Tongabezig has exceeded our expectations and is highly recommended !!

We spent three nights at Tongabezi in a River Cottage and had a fabulous time. We were mainly looked after by Abi and Rita who both provided outstanding service. The Victoria Falls were obviously the main highlight but lunch and the two sundowners on the River Zambezi were also spectacular. Nothing was too much trouble and we dined in a different part of the lodge at every meal. The food was delicious and we couldn’t have been looked after any better. Whilst all the staff were fantastic and friendly, special thanks to Abi and Rita.

The staff were gracious, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The accommodation offered a strong blend of seclusion, curated activities, and relaxation. A refined and unforgettable experience, highly recommended for those seeking both comfort and exclusivity.
