Peterstone Court Country House Restaurant & Spa

We waited 30 minutes to order our pre lunch drinks. When the order eventually arrived it was incorrect. Nothing too exotic was ordered - a lager and a lime and tonic. We were shown to our table and after a short wait, drinks orders were taken. We could not order our food at the same time without the waiter checking with the kitchen first of all. We waited so long, a second waiter asked if we had placed our orders and we explained that the first waiter was actually checking with the kitchen. Our order was eventually taken and shortly afterwards the waiter appeared, apologising, to tell us that there were no vegetarian options available. He looked somewhat surprised when he was told that the vegetarian didn't eat meat which meant there was nothing else suitable on the menu. He did go back to check with the kitchen and returned to say that the chef would be able to prepare a lentil cassoulet, which did sound rather underwhelming. We left. Our table was reserved for 130pm and we specifically mentioned that a vegetarian was dining. It was disappointing that they had run out of the vegetarian main, when they were probably half way through service. We did try to pay for our drinks before leaving but this was waived. We believe the waiter was Mitchell and he was the only saving grace in a rather poor experience. Very disappointing.

I found the wonderful spa team at Peterstone Court when another appointment got cancelled on me a few days before my son's wedding. The team at Peterstone Court were so friendly (including Liam on reception) and managed to fit me in at very short notice which was hugely appreciated. First I had my eyebrows shaped and Shellac nails done by Leah. She is a fantastic and confident practitioner. I am in my fifties and I don't follow beauty trends, but didn't want to look dated in the wedding photos! Leah struck an excellent balance between advising me about current trends and encouraging me to make choices that felt comfortable for me and suited me. She proceeded to do a beautiful job on my nails and on my eyebrows - thank you so much Leah. Daria did a lift and tint on my eyelashes, a procedure I have never had before, and I was blown away by the results. She curled them just the right amount to ensure that they looked longer and more fulsome and her advice on colour (blue/black) was spot on! So, also, thank you so much Daria. I will be returning to Peterstone Court Spa and specifically to Leah and Daria for all future beauty treatments!

We found ourselves needing to travel at short notice, and stopped at Peterstone Court for a delicious lunch, having memorably eaten here en route five years ago. I had been scheduled to join an important Zoom meeting, and the staff were kind enough to find me a quiet space where I could do so, which was very much appreciated. Five star helpfulness, friendliness, initiative, and customer service! We'll certainly stop here again if our travels take us that way, when hopefully we'll be able to just relax and enjoy the experience. Thank you, team.

2 courses for £24 lunch - excellent value for money! Food was tasty, plentiful and well presented. Martini expresso crème brûlée was exquisite - thank you chef 😍. Basque cheesecake with rhubarb was equally delicious! Our waiter Leo looked after us with professionalism. He met the needs of a group of 8 ladies with good humour! Coffee on the terrace with its superb views finished off a most memorable lunch. Well done Peterstone. - we will be back soon !

Stayed 10/05 for a family wedding amazing views and the room was fabulous everything you could need we stayed in the stables a duplex room and it was perfect . All staff amazing and worked hard to make the bride and grooms day perfect . All areas spotless and toilets had all the nice extras like toiletries etc

Had the pleasure of attending an after wedding party (10/5/25) On arrival we were met by some of the most stunning views ever seen. Didn't stay the night (sadly) but the feedback from guests who did was excellent. The building itself is wonderful and very well kept The staff were excellent and where possible catered for your needs. To sum up. A beautiful location. Expertly run. And must for any occasion
