Amazing experience at hotel Carolina. The views were stunning, the service was great, and the staff were lovely (special thanks to Carlos and Victoria). One minor inconvenience was the lack of lots of filling vegetarian options (good on some days, mediocre on others), and the flavour of the cocktails. Apart from that, we would definitely stay at this hotel again!

We stayed at AluaSoul Carolina for four nights in late June and had a lovely, restful break. The transfer from the airport took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The hotel is located in a picturesque village, just a 10-minute taxi drive from Cala Ratjada. Arrival & Room: We received a warm welcome with a refreshing glass of orange juice and a quick check-in. Our room on the 9th floor offered stunning sea views (as do all rooms). It was clean, modern, and spacious, with effective air conditioning. We opted for the My Favourite Club upgrade, which we found worthwhile—it included a daily replenished minibar. A coffee pod machine, and a kettle (tip: bring your own tea bags if you're English!) was available in the room. The only downside was some noise from other rooms and the road, likely due to a small gap around the door. Food & Drink: We were on an all-inclusive package. Breakfast had plenty of variety. Lunch was better in the main restaurant than the pool area. Dinner was average—limited variety, lukewarm food, and lower-quality meat, though desserts and ice cream were excellent. Gluten-free options were available, but communication was inconsistent. It took until day two to receive a proper selection. Facilities & Entertainment: The pool area was great, with plenty of sunbeds and easy beach access. You can reserve sunbeds for €10/day. The beach is lively with rental options and water activities. Evening entertainment was basic but watchable. Service & Communication: Staff were friendly and helpful, but communication and signage could be improved. For example, we had issues with gluten-free food on the first day, inconsistent pricing between posters and room info, and a non-functional app. A missed massage booking due to poor communication was disappointing. Overall: Despite a few minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. Addressing the small but recurring concerns mentioned by many guests would elevate the experience even further.

Everything about this hotel is lovely apart from 1) there are no toilets in the pool area which are a must for anybody who experiences tummy problems and it certainly tainted my holiday! You had a long walk up 22 steps back into the hotel where only two were located on that floor! 2) some of the dishes of food were not labelled and when you asked what it was the restaurant staff did not speak good enough English to understand you ! 3) People were reserving ideal spot sunbeds by paying the towel guy for them the previous day so he could put a notice on them as reserved … all inclusive customers should be treated equally and not have to pay more for a sunbed ! First come first served !! 4) the beach was lovely but sunbeds on there cost about £20 a day .. hotel advertising does not mention this fact ! Would I go here again .. no !

Das Hotel liegt abseits von Trubel und Touristenströmen. Ein unscheinbares Gebäude. Ideal für Gäste, die es ruhiger mögen. Es handelt sich um ein "Adults-only-Hotel". Wer die Insel kennenlernen will, ist auf ein Auto angewiesen. Für kleinere Touren lädt die Bahn vor den Türen des Hotels ein. Direkt an einem kleinen Strand gelegen. Dieser ist jedoch eher etwas für ein kurzes Beachvergnügen. Da gibt es schönere Buchten ;-) Eine toller Strand ist 7min Autofahrt entfernt. Im Umfeld sind (fast) ausschließlich ein paar wenige Hotels. Die Burg von Capdepera ist in etwa 3km Fußmarsch zu erreichen. Wir hatten eine Junior Suite, die wirklich großzügig gestaltet ist. Der Balkon geht über beide Zimmer (Schlaf-/Wohnzimmer). Alles roch nach neuer Einrichtung. Das Bad ist sauber und zweckmäßig. Der Weg zu den Zimmern verläuft außen entlang, was bei Regen und Wind etwas ungemütlich werden kann. Hier findet sich auch die "schlichte Fassade" des Hauses wieder.Alle Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Schade fand ich hier, dass ich im Vorfeld keine Geburtstagsüberraschung (schön gedeckter Tisch mit Gläsern und Sekt) für meinen Mann reservieren konnte. Per E-Mail wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass ich dies nur vor Ort machen kann. Das macht eine Überraschung doch etwas schwieriger. Am Ende klappte es, war allerdings wirklich sehr enttäuschend: Der Sekt stand nicht auf dem Tisch, auch keine Gläser. Der Sekt war allerdings ohnehin am Buffet vorrätig. Ich hätte es etwas privater jedoch schöner gefunden. Das traurigste war allerdings die Tischdeko für den Preis von 25€. Diese bestand aus einer Rose (Textilserviette) und zwei Luftschlangen. Das kennen wir aus anderen Hotels der Insel liebevoller.Wir hatten AI und waren rundrum zufrieden. Hier stimmt Preis/Leistung. Die Speisen waren immer frisch, abwechslungsreich und wurden stets nachgefüllt. Für jede Vorliebe etwas dabei, Fleisch, Fisch, vegetarisch. Die Lautstärke im Speisesaal sollte man jedoch nicht unterschätzen. Aber wer ein großes Hotel bucht, erwartet (hoffentlich) auch keine gemütlichen kleinen Lounges. Die Cocktails waren immer lecker. Jedoch darf man auch hier keine hochprozentigen AI Cocktails am Pool erwarten. Für uns perfekt.

Super Lage. Alle Zimmer Meerblick. Mit Halbpension keine Speisen an der Poolbar zu erwerben. Getränke können gekauft werden Verstehe ich nicht. Alle Balkone mit Aschenbechern ausgestattet. In der Sky Bar von Rauchern umgeben. Nix gegen Raucher, aber ich möchte nicht mitrauchen müssen.
