We went as a family of four to this resort, and it was the first time in Lloret de Mar. Our holiday didn't get off to the best of starts. We were arriving late, and little beknown to us was that transfers can't get near the hotel so we were dropped off at 00.20 in the middle of the nightlife near all the clubs with the driver just pointing up some dark road, no clue where we were. Thankfully, we managed to find the hotel, which was a 5-10 mins walk up the hill, but please bear that in mind if you're booking this resort , especially if you have mobility issues. We arrived at the hotel a little flustered, and we were greeted by two members of the night team who were really nice . We were dying on some water, but most of the hotel was shut for the night and in darkness , so the only option was bottles from a vending machine . We had paid for all-inclusive. The room we were given was spacious and clean . Dated but clean. Unfortunately for the majority of our stay, the air con was barely noticeable despite being left on for ages . Every time someone flushed the toilet upstairs, it sounded as though if it was going to come through the roof, and best of all, there was only one plug for the whole room ! We searched high and low to find another plug, but there was only one in the entire room, which isn't great in the modern day. We found the food to be OK, not the best but passable, and never went hungry . The staff were always working hard and all of them were nice if we needed anything. Unfortunately, for the all-inclusive snacks during the day all you are met with is a little breakfast bar area at the bottom of the bar and on offer is microwaveable hot dogs and burgers , in the packet and one microwave for you to heat them yourself. The hotdogs were OK, but the burgers were absolutely rotten. The only other things on offer were a bowl of crisps and some sorry looking pastries . The pool area was extremely disappointing, The kids were crammed into a tiny space as the pool was so deep that even some adults struggled. There were only 25-30 sunbeds for a hotel of over 300 rooms and only 5 parasols. So unless you're desperate for one, you will have to get up at 5 am. To secure one, especially in peak season. The pool is surrounded by decking, which was scorching hot and was splintering in some parts. The hotel was very inconsistent with their rules around floats in the pool, depending on what lifeguard was on duty one day you were, and next not so much. The daytime entertainment didn't really start until the back of 3 in the afternoon, and the bit for activities was little a tiny bit of astro in the corner. The best part of the week was access to the Splash Park at the Sister Hotel just over the road, and the side door opened at 10.am . The bairns absolutely loved it with all the slides . Please be made aware that there are no sunbeds, just a massive astro area with parasols scattered about the kids' pool. My partner had to buy lylo bed to sit
