We booked through Hotels One, though we thought we were booking directly with the property. They only book through travel platforms. We paid $250 when we booked in early Sept for a stay in late Oct, and the card was charged. We never received access information and when we arrived at the property no one was there to let us in. We were unable to get in touch with anyone to be let in, so we left to find other accommodations. Two days later I am being told they will not refund my $250.00. I am amazing at the scam and that this property doesn’t care about its customers enough to not scam them.

Wonderful escape to a private, quiet getaway
Every aspect of the Grape Escape was excellent. Large spacious common area, large new kitchen and comfortable towels and linens. Instructions very clear from the host and host very responsive to messages. A short walk to downtown in a quiet neighborhoood...highly recommended!

Very clean. Check-In was fast, secure, and easy. Spacious living areas, gorgeous kitchen, beautifully decorated rooms and common areas with a large, shaded backyard and lots of amenities! Located on an beautiful tree-lined street within two blocks of historic downtown.

The house and room is amazing. Quiet, comfy, and the entire process of the stay was excellent. I wished I could’ve spent more time enjoying all the amenities in the house and yard but we were busy with family celebrating a graduation. Next time!

Enjoyed the character of the old craftsman property and the craftsman homes around the neighborhood. The walkability to restaurants. The home had all the amenities you could ask for if you were having a large group renting the entire property or just a couple as the kitchen was amazing.

great stay!
Really enjoyed our stay there. Wish we could have stayed longer. The kitchen is amazing. Living room very comfortable. Bed was comfortable. Had a couple of questions for the owner and they got back to us right away.

Too many long emails
The room and the property are very nice. My main complaint is that they send too many long emails. When arriving I had to search through several old emails too find the correct one with the entry codes (and then the code based on my phone number did not work).

The street is safe, wide, beautiful, and clean. It is easy to park.
The place itself could use a bit of an update.
The temperature is either hot or cold.
The water pressure gets low in the morning.
The room needs a bit of cleaning. Also, pillow case was stained. Pillows were uncomfortable.

This is a lovely older house that has been converted to a multi room Inn. Each room I believe with a private bath. It’s been remodeled/updated and has a huge state of the art kitchen. Yet, the bones are still vintage which we loved. It’s located very close to downtown in a beautiful neighborhood in Lodi.
It would be perfect for a family reunion or a group of friends wanting to visit the wonderful wineries in the area. We were extremely happy with this gem and give it highest marks and would gladly stay there again.
