Very cheap but lacks the basics
I guess I should have done more research on Lodwar in general. The heat was oppressive and the general look of the city depressing. The room was okay only because I asked for no room cleaning. I did this because of the mosquitoes. The windows and door and gaps which allowed bugs and flies entry. The plumbing fixtures were rudimentary. No amenities except for a small soap. The pool looked nice but it was so darn hot. The restaurant lack AC and was open air and was swarming with flies.

So we were on our way to lake Turkana for a vacation with my friend, actually my business partner,And on a few kilometers to the town we saw this great camel arts immediately we were attracted to know how inside will be like,so we went and more than we expected the hotel was beautiful,massive, beautiful scenery and so welcoming

Very pleasant hotel with excellent staff and food. Exceeded expectations. For the budget traveller, it's great value for money. Very clean and tidy The compound is spacious and with sufficient parking

I stayed at Stegra hotel for an event we organized with 50 guests from different countries. The staff is just perfect! Very kind, helpful, flexible. Not to mention the manager Mwangi, he never hesitates to go for the extra mile to help, at any time of the day and even when very last minute, he just makes whatever you need happen. We could not have picked a better place for our event, and I recommend the hotel with my eyes closed. Thank you Stegra hotel team, we came home with plenty of memories!
