Pub is meant to open at 11 but we waited till at least 1pm before there was even any sign of life. Toilet was blocked and every time you flushed poo came out of the shower plug. Good location tho and can’t complain with the the price point tbf.

We first arrived at the hotel. To discover the hotel looked very out dated. We was informed when arrived at the property. There was no breakfast. And the lift was not working. Up a few flights of badly lit stairs to our first room. This had no towels and the bathroom was dirty. We then discovered the bed bed looked broken. We asked for a different room. There was 3 of us. We was changes to a differnt room. This was very small for 3 people. The bathroom again was dirty. And like a postage stamp. There was a bowl in corner of room to catch the drips from the big hole in the ceiling. The wall paper was hanging off the walls. The beds was very small and uncomfortable. The fridge made a loud noise. Very shocking. We headed to the bar for drinks. The fizzy drinks were flat. We went to a concert for the evening and on return all we could smell was ****. I know this was a cheap hotel for the evening but this was shocking. Personally think the flat need closing down. Oh I almost forgot the mouse traps on the stairs. And the exposes wires in the bar and a dodgy looking lamp shade. Very disappointed and won't be returning. Please avoid place like the plaque

If you care about hygiene, comfort, or your sanity – AVOID this hotel at all costs. It’s not cheap enough to justify how dirty and poorly maintained it is. I wouldn’t stay here again even if they paid me. The bedding looked used and there were actual hairs in the sheets – not ours! The shower was grimy and the toilet hadn’t been flushed, let alone cleaned.

The worst stay I’ve ever had. Don’t believe the photos or the discription. READ THE REVIEWS!!!!! It’s a disgusting place to stay, in need of repair, smalls really bad, rooms ate disgusting and even come with a boiler!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! No reception, staff are non existent, no breakfast, no food on offer at all, noise is horrendous, really unsafe as anyone has access to the fire escape which is the only access to the rooms. I can not stress enough how bad this place is. It should be shut down.

I had booked a triple room.On arrival was told the room wasn't ready so would get a double room instead. The room was very small and shabby. The bathroom was very small. We went out and on returning we used the back entrance to the hotel through the beer garden. There was people in the garden smoking cannibas. We went straight to our room but all the corridors smelt of cannibas. It was awful.I am a cigarette smoker so at around 6.30 I went out to the beer garden to smoke and there was still men out there that were there when we arrived back the night before drinking alcohol and smoking cannibas. We decided to leave early so left at around 08.00.When leaving the same males were still in the beer garden. This really wasn't a nice place and will not return again.I would advise anyone looking for a cheap room to stay clear

We went this horrible place for 1 night. The place smells horrible, dirty and the ceilings are falling down. We left the bags in the reception, the cleaning lady told us to put them behind the bar. For my surprise when we return they stolen my credit card and my ID with purchases more than 200eur. Remember, I wish you'd spend all my money on medicine. You scum, you rats.

We arrived at the hotel, not looked like the hotel which was advertised or booked by my friend . We were on the 2nd floor which a few steps to go up . We were in one room which the bed leg was broken and not safe to sit on . So they kindly moved us to a smaller room . Well the place is dirty . Rat traps outside rooms , bathroom was dirty and paper coming of the walls. False advertised as said breakfast included which to be honest I would not want to eat there . Place really smelt and smelt of **** too . Very noisy place to stay so if you want quiet please dont stay here, yes its a cheap place to stay however you do expect the place to be clean and have towels as we had to go and find them ourselves as not in the room . I would not stay there again . I did mention to them that they need to change they website and details

I stayed here with a friend for one night in July for a concert so we weren’t expecting anything fancy, just somewhere to lay our heads that was close to the venue. Unfortunately this hotel fell far below acceptable standards. On arrival we were given a key and shown the fire exit entry which is to be used out of hours. We then made our way upstairs to the room. It was raining quite heavily and it was immediately clear that there was a significant leak in the room. Rain water was dripping through a hole, soaking into the curtains and then puddling on the floor. I lay down a towel to stop the spread and we left our bags packed. We had quite a quick turnaround for the show so I went down and notified staff at the bar about the leak. They seemed concerned and said they would let the supervisor know. It was never clear if they did tell anybody about it, as the staff member we later spoke to was unaware of the issue. When we returned at 930pm, we again told the staff about the leak and they said they would come up to the room. We waited around for 30 minutes before giving up and going to sleep. Nobody ever came to our room. The next morning when we checked out there was no staff available to discuss this with. Other issues include: Lack of security - rooms are opened with a key and there is no internal lock on the inside of the door meaning any staff member with a key could enter while we were sleeping or changing Bedding was stained and mismatched Bathroom was awful - stained and warped by water, cracked tile, very small and the sink was awkward to wash our faces at Wallpaper was peeling in the room We had a triple room (double bed and single bed) which were incredible weirdly oriented with the single at the foot of the double. In addition to this, the beds were metal frames with a piece of plywood under the mattress. In general the space was very small - you couldn’t turn around in the bathroom and corridors and stairways were very tight, especially with luggage. The room was incredibly warm and humid despite it being a mild July. We slept with the window open but it was very loud. Fridge in the room also made a loud buzzing sound. In the hallway there was an alarm blaring 24/7 - it seemed to be coming from a maintenance cupboard Positives The mattresses were pretty comfy Cereal and milk in the room, fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and a fan. There appeared to be washing facilities and kitchen but we weren’t told about these or whether they were for guest use. Overall, this was fine for us to spend a few hours sleeping, but I would absolutely steer clear in future.
