Sonder Sloane Square Apartments Chelsea

Good place to stay while in London, but they aren’t lenient with their checkout policy and place requires some maintenance and service. Good location, but price is on the higher level compared to other apartments in the same area. Would still prefer OFS for future stays.

Comfortable Stay, Spacious Apartment Our family of four recently stayed at Sonder Sloane Square for 7 nights, and overall, we had a great experience. We booked a 2-bedroom hall apartment, which was spacious enough for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked, and the linen and towels were clean. We appreciated having a washing machine with a dryer, which was very convenient for our extended stay. However, there were a few challenges we faced during our stay: No Air Conditioning: Given that summers in July can be quite warm in London, air conditioning is absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, the apartment lacked this essential amenity, making it a bit uncomfortable during the hotter days. Limited Cleaning Service: We understand that it's a limited-service apartment, but at least one free cleaning service during our stay would have been appreciated. They did provide additional towels upon request, which was helpful. Strict Check-Out Policy: The check-out process was quite strict. We requested an extra hour but were denied without an additional charge. Finding the Apartment: After our London taxi dropped us off near the apartment building, it took us quite some time to locate the apartment (the night we arrived). Better signage would have been helpful. Trash Disposal: They suggested we dispose of trash next door, but the door did not open. Although there was no one on-site, the Sonder app support team was quick to respond and assist us. On the positive side, we loved the location. Sloane Square is a great area with easy access to the underground, making it convenient to explore London. Despite the challenges, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the comfort and amenities provided. Overall, if Sonder addresses the issues mentioned, it would enhance the guest experience significantly. We would recommend this place, especially for its location and spacious accommodations.
