The air conditioning in the first room 449 was not working.I phoned reception at 10 pm after returning from our evening meal.The receptionist was unable to explain about the air conditioning ,she said that maintenance would come to the room.We feel asleep as we had been travelling since 5 am that morning.
No one rang/came to the room so we spent an uncomfortable night -London is experiencing a heatwave at present.
The next morning, I phoned reception again and spoke to Irene .She immediately allocated us another room with functioning air con,thankfully and offered a fan .
I was disappointed that we had to endure an uncomfortable night without assistance.
