Great location, for a weekend getaway!
Amenities are also decent, including a spacious shower space, in comparison to other hotels of similar price points.
Would likely stay again.

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Great location for Tate Modern, Globe Theatre and the Borough Market. Bed super comfortable and the AC was a very pleasant surprise with easy to understand instructions. Breakfasts satisfactory Premier Inn fare - good food and good value. Only niggle is the price per night but it is London and explains why our city breaks are usually Berlin or Oslo!

We stayed for the very first time at the Premier Inn Tate Modern and it was an amazing experience. The welcome, instruction on what's available was so warm and friendly. The room we had was very clean and comfortable and apart from a slow wi-fi it was a great experience. We will stay here again as our first choice central London hotel. Well done to the whole team at the hotel.

Very good hotel for this price in this location. Not far from metro or train station. You can even walk to Big Ben etc. Little small room if you have more than two kids, but manageble. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good and coffee was excellent. Dinner was good and price were cheap for London. Staff were helpful and nice. Recommend for holiday :)

Pulizia, cordialità e posizione fanno del Premier Inn Tate un ottimo posto dove alloggiare. Stanza spaziosa per un soggiorno di tre notti. Peccato che il wi fi praticamente fosse inutilizzabile. Nos alojamos en el Premier Inn London Southwark (Tate Modern) y, en general, tuvimos una experiencia positiva. Lo mejor, sin duda, es la ubicación si viajas desde Stansted: La parada del autobús National Express está literalmente a menos de 5 minutos caminando del hotel, lo cual es increíblemente cómodo después del viaje. El hotel en sí es muy confortable, manteniendo el buen estándar que se espera de Premier Inn. La zona inmediata es fantástica para explorar a pie: Estás a un paso de la Tate Modern, el Shakespeare's Globe, el Millennium Bridge (ideal para cruzar a la City) y el animado Borough Market, perfecto para comer algo. También tienes cerca la Catedral de Southwark y buenas vistas de The Shard. Es una base estupenda para disfrutar de la ribera sur del Támesis (South Bank). El punto menos conveniente de la ubicación es que las paradas de metro (Southwark o London Bridge, por ejemplo) o de autobús urbano para moverte más ampliamente por Londres quedan a unos 15 minutos andando. No es mucho, pero se nota un poco más al regresar por la noche después de un día de turismo. The free Wi-Fi is practically unusable—you can’t even browse the web, check emails, or load WhatsApp messages. To get a decent connection, you’re forced to pay an extra £5. Unfortunately, mobile data coverage is also very poor (hopefully not being restricted by a jammer). They advertise a “full range” breakfast, but basic items like regular cheese are missing.

Hotel is perfect for sightseeing as it is 5 minute walk from river and close to underground and 2 main line stations. Many places within walking distance. 2 supermarkets beside the hotel. Staff are friendly and the cooked breakfast is good. We stayed for 6 nights and had a quiet room on the 6th floor.
