Chamberlain House

We loved our stay here. Small room but cozy bed. We were staying on the top floor, so just be aware, there is no elevator and the stairs are steep. Otherwise it was a perfect stay . There is private parking in the back with locked garages, one for each room. Loved that. And the common room kitchen and living area are perfect! Clean kitchen and they even have snacks free of charge! Thank you greatly! Will definitely recommend

Wonderful visit to Derry The Chamberlain House is a very well-located and extremely clean place to stay in the lively and friendly city of Derry. I recently stayed there as part of a trip around Ireland and found the room to be very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Upon arrival, Teresa greeted us warmly and assisted us with accessing the parking area. She then gave us some excellent recommendations for what to do during our time in the city. We especially appreciated her dining recommendations, which were spot on - both the Blackbird, where we had supper, and the Scullery, where we had a fabulous breakfast on our last day, were outstanding, among the best meals we had on the entire trip. We also appreciated having kitchen access and being able to stay in such a central location - you really cannot beat it. Thanks for everything, Liam and Teresa!

It was a pleasure to stay at this establishment, so close to the city centre and Teresa couldn't of been more helpful in giving us advice upon check in and what to do around the city of Derry. The cleanliness of the place is a credit to the owner Liam. I had a great conversation with him before I left and the history of the where we were staying. A pure gentlemen. As we had to leave early at 7 am, Teresa got up so early to pull up the garage door so that we could leave in the car at such an hour to get back home for my partner's appointment 350 km+ away. Appreciated it as we got back in time to collect our dogs and go to the appointment.

Theresa and Liam are the best guests you could find in derry, rooms and kitchen are really comfortable and clean. They will also provide you every advices you need to know to visit the center town. Many thanks !!

We booked Chamberlain House after cancelling our room at The City Hotel. This was because we noticed a decline in their reviews and we are so glad we did. Liam and Teresa could not have been more helpful. Our room (1) was small but perfect for a one night stay. The bathroom was sparkling clean with a lovely powerful shower. We booked room only so we're amazed when Teresa showed us the kitchen and told us to help ourselves to the complementary tea, coffee, bread for toast, cereals and yogurts. I can't believe that someone had the audacity to complain about the breakfast in another review when it was not included in the price. The secure parking was also a great bonus. Thank you so much Liam and Teresa. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone visiting Derry.

Theresa was very nice and helpful getting us settled. The driveway to the carpark is tight, but do able with some help. Location is very short walk to everything. Definitely stay here again.
