"Booked 3 nights acc in the Gidyea tent with King bed. A self catering breakfast basket was included. Also opted to pay extra to include the bbq pack & a cheese platter. Greeted by David, who gave great info & showed how everything worked. We were allocated tent 8 overlooking the front paddock with nice uninterrupted views of the countryside. The tent has a front verandah with seating provided and also a gas bbq. There is undercover parking located at the back so as not to interrupt the views. Inside the tent is provided with everyrhing we needed for a relaxing enjoyable time. The bed is so comfortable & so is the lounge. There is a kitchenette, with sink, microwave & full fridge. The food provided was plentiful & of great quality. We would certainly recommend having the bbq pack & the cheese board. The ceiling fan works well & there is air con if you need it. Wifi is excellent too. The ensuite is spacious with a terrific shower & deep bath. Since it is out of town the night skies are wonderful. We enjoyed our time at Mitchell Grass Retreat & can't think of anything we'd change, so would certainly recommend staying here."

"Very bad night. The room was very basic which doesn’t really bother me. But I’d been on the motorbike all day was tired and cold 🥶. Just wanted to wind down thought I’d watch some TV. DIDNT WORK. As the night wore on it started getting very cold no heating. The reverse cycle air conditioner DIDNT WORK. Never again"

"We were delivered to the property which was appreciated and had received the instructions on how to enter same. But on this occasion the process was not working ,so we spent the next 30 mins standing outside the door trying to contact the property by phone. Had to enlist the kind help of a fellow resident to go and pick up a physical key for us. (Poor customer service) Then NO hot water - phoned to enquire if there was a trick to get this to happen. Phoned over 8 times for assistance no response. After travelling on a train for 26 hours the first thing one wants is a hot shower. It’s now 9.30 pm no shower possible and we have an early morning tour so very unhappy…."
