The homestay owner was extremely helpful in helping us book tickets to and from Guilin city centre, and giving recommendations for hiking routes in the time we were there. Also made an excellent dinner - best bamboo tube rice of our trip and everything was cooked fresh to order!

We had a wonderful stay here with our baby. The view from the room was amazing, the bathtub was pleasant to have. The host was very nice, he drove us to the cable car station and got he bus station for free.
Great to see how this rural area develops.

The hotel is in the village of Dazhai, 5 minutes drive from the visitor's centre. Or you can take the cable car up to the view point and reach it via walking paths around the rice terraces which takes around 20 minutes, but not ideal if you have luggage. The host was so kind to give us a lift when we left. We were able to do some hikes around the village.
The room was amazing, clean and comfortable with a big window in front of the rice terraces and had all toiletries inside.
We had dinner on the terrace of the hotel, they cook great local food and they gave us some rice wine and tea for free.
The breakfast is typical Chinese with Guilin noodles, eggs and tea.

Our stay at the hotel was great!
The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They also respond very quickly to all your questions and you can easily reach them via WeChat.
They helped us to book a direct bus from Guilin to Dazhai and from Dazhai to Yangshuo.
The pick up and drop off service from the Dazhai parking lot is quick and efficient, we were really happy that we didn't need to walk up the hill with our heavy luggage.
The room is clean, spacious and luxurious.
The breakfast is really good. We also ordered food for dinner twice and it was delicious! We also got some very good rice wine and tea with the dinner.
We're travelling in China for a month and this was definitely our best stay of the entire trip!

The room is clean and cozy, with complete facilities and a good environment. The view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room is great. The included breakfast is delicious and the service is very good. They sent us to take the cable car and then to the station in the afternoon 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. We also had lunch here. The glutinous rice was delicious and the rice wine was super delicious 🤤. The food portions were large and very delicious. I recommend it.

The view outside the window is nice, the boss and the boss lady are very welcoming, and we had a very happy stay. The facilities are just like those of a B&B, don't compare with those of a big hotel. But the breakfast was not good. Each person had a bowl of rice noodles, a small lava bun, an egg and a small piece of corn. I don't eat rice noodles, so I asked the service auntie in gray clothes for an extra bun or corn. The auntie said it was a fixed amount and would not give me any more. The other hotel we stayed in the next day also had the same configuration, but they told me that I could order more food if it wasn't enough. If the boss and his wife weren't so helpful, I would have given it a low score.
