The Residences at Hacienda Encantada

I have stayed at The Residences at Hacienda Encantada many times in the last decade and always find it to be such an enjoyable experience because of personnel that you interact with on a day to day basis. Guillermo Justo has been our butler for years, in fact we always request him! He is so personable and is such a great organizer and problem solver. He makes each visit seem like a reunion of family and friends. I couldn’t imagine returning to this resort if he wasn’t there. Guillermo’s attention to detail is what makes each visit so special. As well, we’ve always had Pilar as our maid and know that she will take good care of us on every visit. Knowing and interacting with these very special people is always the highlight of our trip.

We traveled to The Resedices at Hacienda Encantada on April 5,2025. Once arriving for Check in Daniel our butler was ready to get us checked in quickly to our villa. This was our 3rd year Daniel has welcomed us and took care of our every need while we spent 2 weeks there. He was great at getting any little thing we requested from dinner reservations in town, transportation to town, spa appointments and requesting maintenane if needed. Great job Daniel keep up the great job. We also have to mention how our housekeeper Gaudalope(hope i soelled that correctly) as she kept the villa pristine for us. The grounds people through out the resort do an amazing job the keep it all looking great. We cant wait to return for Christmas this year.

In general the facilities are very good. The service is terrible. Our Buttler was great but he could do just about with the resources available. He deserves 5 stars in availability and kindness, but can’t do much if the rest of the personnel is not responding well.

Our stay at the Residences surpassed our expectations. The cleanliness of the place, the inviting private pool, the restaurants, security of the place and courtesy shuttles, and the church overlooking the ocean, inside the hotel vicinity is soooo gorgeous! Our butler Daniel M. went above and beyond, making sure we are well taken care of and cater to everything we needed during our stay. When my husband accidentally locked the laundry room, Daniel sent someone to fix it in no time!

Been here four years in a row, and am reserved for next. It’s an easy thing to like. The residences are a cut above, spacious 2 bedroom villa in a private area with pools just for the residences, which are sparsely used. Butler service for hotel dinner reservations make it an easy stay, one contact, gets things done. Our butler Daniel Morales was priceless in making the stay a no hassle visit. The hotel property, Vista Encantada is at your disposal, all the amenities there are yours as well. He suggested renting a car from there for a couple days from 10car, made me cancel my Avis preferred reservation for the ease. You’ll never feel huckstered here, especially by Daniel. They have an all inclusive add on from the hotel, which I’d suggest if you didn’t feel like the hassle of shopping and cooking in your villa kitchen [which has everything]. I think it’s worth it in the sense you don’t have worry about what you’re consuming, price wise. You’ll probably come out even without the hassle. You’ll go back there, like we did.

It is one of the most peaceful, beautiful places we have visited. The service was excellent. Our butler, Clemente, was perfect. The view was gorgeous as was the house. We will definitely come back to visit again. A great time was enjoyed by all.
