Stayed for one week room 424 good size room with small balcony separate bedroom small cooking area with 2 ring hob and sink and fridge,bath room ok nothing special shower over bath,safe deposit box down next to reception €30 for the week €20 deposit for key.swimming pool not as big as you think and a little out dated needs attention missing tiles in pool not a very big sun bathing area all the beds are put out at 10am and yes the towel brigade are out in force The beds are hard plastic and very uncomfortable,(bad point) you can hire a Sunbed mattress for €3 a day and a umbrella for €5 day ‍♂️ every hotel we have stayed in all over the world they have been standard and come as part of your stay it’s very wrong. The snack bar is small grubby and very expensive now the very bad point no air conditioning just 2 ceiling fans that are rubbish just blow hot air on you,this is Tenerife it’s 32% and no air conditioning it’s unbelievable. The staff are lovely on reception.its not really 3 star it’s 2 good position for walking and 10 minutes to front I will not come back it’s not my cup of tea you got the smell of **** every night not good. Tenerife has had its day Gran Canaria for me.

This was me and my husband's first trip abroad in almost 20 years! From the minute we arrived, (4am as flight was delayed), the staff were friendly and helpful whenever we asked anything. The apartments are fairly basic but perfect for us as we tried to be out enjoying the island most of the time anyway. Still, they are equipped with everything you need. Watching the amazing staff every morning getting the pool area ready for guests, was so impressive. They work like a well oiled machine and were also always friendly. The reception area is lovely and really quirky and although we didn't eat at the restaurant I overheard many compliments about it. The cleaners were fabulous. They came everyday and went above and beyond. They even folded our carrier bags! Again the pool area is basic compared to some of the other hotels but there are plenty of loungers with rentable cushions and parasols. The pool and surrounding area was always spotless. There's a lovely little pool bar with seating and a wide selection of drinks and light bites. Overall, if you are not looking for an all singing, all dancing hotel with all the frills, then this place is perfect. We had a really enjoyable week and have already decided to book next year and bring some family with us.

We booked this hotel for my 40th birthday — it was one of the cheaper options but looked the nicest within our budget. I emailed ahead hoping for a birthday gesture, but nothing was offered. Check-in was smooth and staff were lovely. The room was basic but clean, with a well-equipped kitchen (though no sweeping brush). Sand from the beach lingered until day 5 when cleaners finally swept. No aircon, and the bedroom was too hot despite the ceiling fan. The pool hours were limited by a grumpy lifeguard, though he had valid complaints about guests reserving unused sunbeds. Parking was easy, and the location was quiet but close to bars and restaurants. Overall, a decent stay for the price.

Stayed here a few times now and will keep going back. Nice friendly staff and good clean well maintained hotel. Well located to get out and about

Family of 4 stayed for a week mid October. Nice enough place but needs the rooms updating. Pool area is nice and kept clean. If you are self catering I wouldn't bother with the bar or food; drinks are ridiculously expensive which is why its generally empty. All local bars are very reasonable and better value for money. All in all its not a bad hotel and fair for the price.

3rd visit, and again a fantastic family October break. Great as a base, a 15 mins walk to the beach, 5.mins to a Hipodino supermarket, and.lots of great pubs and restaurants. Checkout James at the Merry Monk and Charley's Restaurant. The pool area is ideal, no need for umbrellas or mattresses for the beds, towels are adequate. The food is ok, and ways warm and plentiful. Though next year, we're considering Self Catering due to the amenities available within .the area and apartment. The staff are all fantastic, the cleaning staff do a great job, everyone is soo friendly, though the lifeguard is a little grumpy (the mid week one). The chap at the weekend is fantastic with the kids, he's really engaged. So as I type, we've priced up for next year, and will get it booked later this week.

Hotel is very average and there are much better. The rooms are tired and worn out, kitchens damaged and old, bathrooms the same. Food is dire, smallest selection I have seen and very minimal choice and only warm if it’s just been put out, also no pudding only tinned fruit and ice cream, sometimes a cake cut into a thousand tiny pieces if you’re lucky. Also the first hotel I’ve been to where the cleaners have Wednesday and Thursday off so no service on those days, sofa bed is like lying in a bag of bones and no entertainment and no bar when the pool closes. Pool area is nice and you can usually get a sunbed although you have to pay for umbrella and sunbed cushions (nobody has them). Quite noisy from early in the morning so don’t expect a lie in.

It is what it is, for 3 star - you get what you are given. Staff were lovely and courtesy room was good and spacious, luggage room you were just given a key card which was good for access but also meant almost anyone could get in if they wanted to. Charging €3 per day for sunbed cushions and brollies and further charging for WiFi Bar quite expensive but only €2 for ice cream For a long weekend was alright, would not recommend staying for a week

been here 5days and the last 3days have been ruined by works by the pool / non stop loud and echoing hammering of concrete and tiles ! no prior warning whatsoever and holiday being ruined !

Went here as part of large family group. Points to note: We only had one incident where one group (out of four) was given a one bed instead of a two bed. This was rectified by the following day with compensation added and many apologies. All staff were fantastic and worked hard but kept smiling. Taxis to vista sur shopping centre in las americas cost roughly 6-8 euros (asking at reception). Food at pool bar was great. Rooms were clean. Only negative for us was that you had to pay for umbrellas by the pool (€3 per day iirc) and there was little shade. Also lounger cushions but this we found more understandable. We used the tables and chairs at the pool bar to keep children out of the sun when not in the pool. Pool was warm enough. Pool table was good for kids/teens. Free bus to Siam mall one block over (by paradise hotel) - but check times online as when we went last bus back was 3.30pm and we missed it and had to use taxi. No air con was a shame but made clear prior to booking and there were ceiling fans in both bedrooms and main living area. All in all a good holiday, thankyou Aguamar.

Hi Booking was made with Jet 2 Self Catering at Aguamar - for 7 days from 4th September 2025. WEATHER - the weather was nice and hot 🥵  ARRIVAL - We arrived at Aguamar at approx 22:30hrs on the 4th September. On arrival at reception there was a security guard who gave us our room key and told us where our room was - we was ground floor room no: 6. You could not get Wi-Fi or a safe until the next day. You could buy water should you need some. We was not given any welcome pack nor was there one in our room. AIR CON - there was no air con in our room, however, there was a large ceiling fan in the main kitchen/dining area and in the bedroom. ROOM REQUEST - Due to poor mobility I did make a room request directly to Aguamar Apts via email prior to going on holiday. I asked for a ground floor room near the amenities, this request was granted.  SAFE - the safe was not in your room, it was by reception in a safety room, which was secure. The safe was 38 euro for the safe, this included 20 euro deposit which you get back on leaving. WI-FI - Wifi was good; you do have to pay for wi-fi which depended on how many days you want it for & how many devices. Reception will give you a list of prices. However, wi-if is free in certain areas. ROOM - Ground floor room 6. This room was ok, it was not as big as what we expected. We were 3 adults staying in this room which only had 1 bedroom. The room had 2 single beds in the bedroom and a pull out bed in the dining/kitchen area. The pull out bed was basically a wood base frame with a mattress in it; this then slid under the settee; please note it is not a bed settee; the mattress is on the floor, which leaves no room for you to go when it is pulled out. We all slept in the single beds that were pushed together; they are very large single beds so plenty of room for 3 adults. The room was fairly clean but we did have a cockroach in the kitchen area on our first day. Cleaners came on a daily basis to change towels etc. There is not a lot of wardrobe/other space for your clothes but there was about 10 coat hangers; we lived out of our suitcases. The room has a cooker, fridge, microwave and toaster, with cutlery/other utensils being minimal. Our room had good size balcony, with chairs/table; which led out on to the pool so this was nice. The shower was nice but was in the bath; we asked the maid for a bath mat so we didn’t slip, she gave us one straight away. , There was a TV in the room, however, the TV does not have any English channels on it apart from the news. POOL - the pool was ok, alittle smaller that what we expected; it didn’t seem big enough for the amount of people/sun-beds there were. Sunbeds were unlocked at 10am and there was a pool attendant by the pool during the day. We would just like to say how pleasant ‘ Callum’ was. Callum was one of the pool attendants; he was very accommodating, attentive & Observant. There was always a high visibility of him and you could see that his main priority was to e

Stayed here for 5 nights, the rooms were very clean, although no air con there are ceiling fans which do help keep the room cool, the beds are comfortable the reception staff are very helpful polite and understanding and the bar staff are great and polite, plenty of sun beds to go round, only down side is that if you want a parasol or a sunbed cushion then there is a hire charge. The beach/ harbour is a 19 minute walk with plenty of bars and shops on the way, overall for a 3 star hotel it was fine for the 3 of us who had a pleasant stay and we would go back
