The Pheasant Inn

Warm friendly welcome, lovely room with very comfortable beds. Breakfast included and with a good choice, something for everyone and all good quality local produce . We ate in the restaurant and bar on our 2 night stay on an evening, and would recommend you book in advance as we did because it’s a very popular place, this should tell you how good it is and we stayed mid week. All the staff are lovely and will definitely recommend to friends and would happily stay again.

Well loved our stay at the Pheasant Inn. The two rooms were spotlessly clean and designed to high standard. We had an excellent breakfast included too. We have to mention the service, as it was amazing 10/10.

Staff are pleasant and caring, location is ideal. Breakfast included in the b&b rate gave a choice of cooked or cereal or fruit but most places would include the cereal and fruit as well as the cooked, a minor point as well as having to ask for toast.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was exceptionally clean as was the rest of the Inn. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was plentiful and tasty. When we are next up in that area we will definitely stay there again.

This really was a last minute getaway, we booked and arrived with 3 hours and although very last minute everything was ready for us. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Toiletries, hairdryer, tea & coffee facilities and a fridge with bottled water and milk are available in the room. The bathroom was clean and modern with a very good shower and lovely big soft towels. The Pheasant Inn is in a lovely quiet area but still easily accessible with some nice walks close by that are well signposted. Its a great base for exploring Grange over Sands and the Lake District. The staff are aways happy to help and do their best to accommodate any requests. Top marks to everyone of them for there great service. The Pheasant Inn is also a bar and restaurant that felt comfortable and friendly from the moment we walked in. The food was so good we ate there both nights of our stay and had breakfast as well. There is a good choice on the menu at a fair price. Overall I would definitely The Pheasant Inn for a few days away and the restaurant/bar for food and drinks.

We love staying at this hotel. Super comfortable beds, tastefully furnished rooms, cosy bar and sophisticated dining room with a fabulous view. The staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent with interesting seasonal additions to the menu. We can recommend the Pheasant whole heartedly.
