"Good environment, clean and quiet, pure French villa, white corridor, wooden furniture, clean bathroom, definitely worth the trip. The only regret is that there may be too few people staying. Breakfast is not a buffet and the Asian breakfast is terrible. The Western breakfast is still very good."

"I can only say good thing about this hotel. Location is great. It is just a few feet away from the night market. Service from Sai is exceptional. The hotel feels like you are at the comfort of your home. The price is cheap and i got upgraded in the second floor.
My only problem is the internet as it is not stable sometimes. And I hope they serve bottled water as complimentary water and not a tap water."
"The service is really good, but the location of the hotel is not known to many local people, the environment is also good, you can see the Mekong River, and the beautiful facilities are also very pleasant."

"I traveled from Vientiane, Vangrong to Luang Prabang. I couldn't give good reviews to the hotels in the first two places, but I gave a thumbs up to this hotel. The decoration style is full of Southeast Asian style, and the floor tiles and lighting all reveal the store's care. The garden is lush and green. The best thing is its breakfast and afternoon tea. The jams and juices are all made in-house, so there is no need to worry about additives. The location is very convenient. It only takes two minutes to walk to the Mekong River and 5 to 10 minutes to walk to the Foreigner Street. There are scenery on the way to wherever you go. The free bicycles accompanied us through two happy days. I will continue to stay here next time."

"The design, decoration and layout of the entire hotel are very Southeast Asian. The bedding is also very comfortable. One of the two swimming pools is shallower and warmer, and the other narrower swimming pool is deeper and colder. The service was OK when checking in, and we also gave a tip. Everything was OK until I had breakfast and found out that one of the waitresses in the restaurant was discriminatory or pretending to be smart. I communicated with her in English throughout the whole process about what I ordered and consulted about what I didn't understand. As a result, the food I was served was short of weight, and the food I ordered was not the same as the plate. The whole experience was the most regrettable experience, which ruined so many good experiences. And later I found that there was a Chinese menu, but the service staff did not take the initiative to give it to us. Lao people feel shy or something. Anyway, the waiters who received us were enthusiastic and some kept avoiding us. It was inexplicable. On the first day of going out, I found that 300 yuan was missing from my wallet in the room on the same day. Although I am not sure whether it was taken by the hotel staff, I still remind people who go there to pack up their valuables. When you go out shopping, you must be careful when you meet people who can speak Chinese, whether they are compatriots or foreigners. They think that Chinese people have a lot of money and are stupid, or they are too generous and will rip you off. Secondly, you can bargain at night markets and morning markets."

"Aman is the best hotel in Luang Prabang. It is located in the center of the town. It is a 5-minute walk to the Foreigner Street Night Market. Aman's service is impeccable. Breakfast and dinner are all served at the hotel. The quality of the catering is online. I participated in the hotel's charity and Mekong River cruise. It costs extra but the price is acceptable. You can use the hotel's electric car to pick you up anywhere in the town. In short, Aman will take your vacation experience to a new level."
"The service is very good, and the environment is also very good. When you open the window in the morning, you can hear the stream and birds. The atmosphere of the whiskey bar at night is also very good. They also used a luxury nanny car to send my friend back to other hotels, which is free.
I stayed during the Spring Festival. The water in the swimming pool was still a little cold at night and I couldn't swim. The breakfast was a little slow and I waited for 45 minutes before it was served."

"Bad experience, the price you pay doesn't match the room's quality you get. We paid about 140$ for a family room (35 sq.m in description), but get a small room stuffed with beds with no space even for suitcases. After one night, management gave as the bigger room, which was as big as expected (that's good), but the room wasn't cozy and neat. It looked quite filthy. I recommend choosing another place for staying in LP. Attached photos of family room we got first, and the second one."

"The location is not easy to find, not relying on the road, there is no such hotel on Google Maps, there are too many similar hotel inn on the Mekong River. The driver who sent us from the airport put us on the road and went to find forty. Minutes, asking for directions everywhere, only found in the ”village” road; the waiter is very enthusiastic; the hardware is made of solid wood; the occupancy rate is not high, the room is heavy, the bed is moist, the table stool is very thick dust!"

Amazing
Kknoess RichelleThis place is an oasis . The staff are friendly and professional. The room was lovely with a nice balcony. Breakfast served near the lily pond each morning. It is a short walk into town or you can use one of their free bicycles. The grounds are beautifully manicured. And there was a yummy cookie left in our room each evening. You can also book all excursions around the city through the helpful front desk staff.
NNuytsiaFloribundaOur stay had a lot of high points and a lot of low points.
Starting with the high points, the grounds and room were incredible. Our experience at the spa was one of the best we’ve had. The cocktails and Laos-style burger we had for lunch one day were phenomenal. The staff were charming and very accommodating.
However, there were a few aspects that were far below the experience expected of a 5 star hotel. First, cocktail service around the pool was abysmal. On almost every occasion we had to go searching for a staff member to take our order, and then the cocktails more often than not took more than half an hour to arrive. This is despite the fact that we seemed to be the only people ordering F&B at that time, i.e. they were not busy at all.
Second, the breakfast was a disappointment every day - we were told we could order eggs or noodles, and had to repeatedly press the staff to find out what type of eggs and noodles, and we only discovered on the last day that there was a menu with additional options. We ordered poached eggs on toast, and the eggs had not been drained of excess liquid, and the bread was entirely soaked through. An order of waffles took over an hour to come out - first it was delivered as a pancakes, and then they just forgot about it despite repeated follow ups. The “local” Laos options lacked flavor - very little of the herbs and spice that makes Laos food great. I think this and the pool service issue are primarily the result of a lack of training and instruction for staff - they were clearly doing their best, but did not know what to do.
Third, the pool area needs a lot more spent on maintenance. The decking is cracking and falling apart. The mosaic tiles in the pool are falling apart, A LOT of the tiles are missing, and I got a very large laceration on my forearm from the sharp edge of a tile sticking out. If this pool were in a western jurisdiction, it would not meet health and safety standards.
Fourth, the gym was not worth visiting if you want to lift weights. Possibly the worst weights offering I’ve seen for a hotel of that price and with that much space.
We want to reiterate how great and enthusiastic the staff were. I think this is primarily a management oversight, training, and maintenance capex issue.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a long day. The location is really good. The facilities are impressive and well-maintained, making everything convenient and enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome. Additionally, the laundry service was efficient and reliable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay. I will definitely be returning!
GGuest User“This hotel’s bed is incredibly comfortable! The mattress is perfectly balanced, providing an excellent night’s sleep. The quality of the bedding is also very high; the sheets and duvet covers are very soft and cozy. The hotel’s breakfast is also delicious, made with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable sleep and a tasty breakfast!”
AAnonymous UserThis accommodation is perfect for travelers seeking comfort in the heart of the city. The minimalist-style rooms are cozy and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The night market view from our room was amazing! The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to shopping, dining, and major attractions. We would definitely stay here again

Very Good
GGuest UserVery friendly and helpful staff. Everytime I asked them something, they were more than willing to help in anyway they could. The room was lovely and very reasonably priced. The only very minor downside was that breakfast was a little bit limited for someone with quite a lot of food allergies, but the staff could make adaptions to the menu to try and cater for these. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in Luang Prabang.
YyyfzhshLuang Prabang is a small town. The hotel is not far from the night market and is close to various attractions. It is convenient for reading alms in the morning and eating and shopping at night for massage. The room layout is simple and hygienic. You must take off your shoes when entering the lobby. If you like quiet, don't choose a room facing the street. , Western-style breakfast is simple and nutritious, and very cost-effective.

Very Good
KK.-The staffs are very friendly. Even though English is not their first language, they utilize translation app and enjoy the conversation with the guests. Very open-minded.
-The room is super clean.
-The location is a bit away from the historical area (30mins+ on foot) but you can enjoy the local life along the way to the area.
It was my first trip to Laos, and only for two days, but it became a very pleasant stay. Would love to visit again.
TTimentoDiverNestled in the heart of Luang Prabang's enchanting Old Town, Wisdom Mystery Hotel is a hidden gem along Phayameungchan Rd. Immerse yourself in the cultural tapestry of Laos, surrounded by the rich history of UNESCO-listed sites. The location, a stellar 5-star, ensures every corner explored is a journey through time. The staff's warm embrace, earning a solid 5-star, makes each guest feel like a cherished part of Luang Prabang's narrative. While the facilities garner 3 stars, this budget haven offers unparalleled value for money. Breakfast, a delightful 4-star affair, sets the tone for a day of exploration. A pocket-friendly masterpiece in the heart of heritage.

GGuest UserIt's okay for the price~ I liked the balcony.
The bathroom and toilet are separate.
It's not completely clean, and you have to take that into account because it's an old building. The location is a bit far from the night market, but you can walk there, and I rented a scooter, so it wasn't difficult to get around.
