Decent Stay with a Few Trade-Offs
The hotel is in an okay location—about a 5-minute drive from the Mekong River and its main attractions. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, but one unique experience is the alms-giving ceremony in the early morning around 5:30 AM. Since there’s a temple close by, you can watch the monks walk by right outside the hotel.
The rooms are quite spacious and cleaned daily. They come with free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, which is a plus. The hotel also offers complimentary bikes for guests, making it easier to get around.
However, the rooms are not soundproof. If you’re in the main building, expect to hear other guests having meals or moving around throughout the day. The noise can be an issue, especially in the mornings. Also, while the staff is helpful, the lack of nearby dining options or attractions means you’ll likely need to travel a bit for food and entertainment.
Overall, it’s a comfortable stay if you’re okay with some noise and don’t mind venturing out for meals and activities.
