Everything about this B&B was first class. Very clean room/bathroom and entire house. Joe was extremely personable Breakfast was lovely and plentiful Liked not bring on the main drag but close enough to walk and enjoy it

Lovely historic building in beautiful Lunenburg. Room and bedroom were really nice and comfortable. Check in was fine although we were a little later than requested but we had advised the owner beforehand that we would be late as had 2 flights and a drive to get there. Breakfast was really nice and accommodated my husband's gluten free requirements. It was a sociable breakfast with everyone eating together. It is a shame that the owners are selling but hopefully someone will take it on as a bed and breakfast business.

Lovely B&B in beautiful Lunenburg. Spotlessly clean and well appointed room with big bathroom. We were only here for one night so unfortunately didn’t get to enjoy our spa bath! Breakfast was delicious - as with many B&bs there is only one choice so might not be for everyone. The breakfast is served at one large table with the other guests, great for me as I am a talker but may feel uncomfortable for some. The garden is lovely with a little putting green, wish we had had more time to enjoy. All round a pleasant stay!

I stayed in the upstairs room with two twin beds for three nights in August 2024. The owners are wonderful hosts. The room and private bath were clean, quiet, and nicely appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast that they prepared each morning was beautifully presented and delicious. I enjoyed talking with the owners and they gave great suggestions for places to see in the area. I found the location to be perfect; it was just a few blocks from the main part of town, but on a quiet street. It was easy to walk around the attractive historic neighborhood that surrounded the bed and breakfast, and it was just a 3 block walk to the oldest part of the fabulous historic town. I took an excellent walking tour led by a local history teacher and learned all about the fascinating history and all of the beautifully preserved buildings and churches in Lunenburg. I had a wonderful stay at Alicion Bed and Breakfast!

Eine stattliche Villa, sehr ruhig gelegen,stilvoll eingerichtet, grosses und sauberes Zimmer. Herzlicher Empfang, wurden ins Zimmer geführt und bekamen alles gezeigt und erklärt auf eine sehr humorvolle Art. Bekamen auch Tipp wohin zu gehen. Das Frūhstúck sehr reichlich und auf individuelle Anliegen wurde Rūcksicht genommen. Joe half unterstützte uns auch in der Suche nach einem anderen Zimmer, wie wir einen Tag zu früh anreisten😂🙈🤷♀️

We stayed for 3 nights in June while attending a wedding in Lunenburg. Joe is such a warm and interesting host and he and Chris take such pride in their bed and breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and large and have all the extras you might expect. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast with so much food we did not need lunch. The B&B is a short walk from the harbour and the busy town….a PERFCT location for a Lunenburg stop! Hiking/walking trails are close by.

What a gem of a place! Wonderful welcome, great ground floor room and fabulous breakfast. Great location for a gentle stroll into town and the beautiful waterfront. We were able to sit outside in the evening and it was so quiet except for the beautiful bird song. The house is delightful - so full of character - would highly recommend

Even checking in was like coming home. Joe - our host - was very friendly and attentive. Our room was simply great and the bathroom was large with a bathtub. The location is also lovely and when the weather is good you can sit outside. The city can be reached on foot via the harbor hiking trail. The breakfast was a delight prepared by Christopher. The whole house is a gem and if we come back to Luneburg we will happily stay here again. Greets from Peter and Stefan - Germany

Joe’s hospitality and sense of humor made our trip all the more worthwhile! The accommodations at the Alicion were roomy and well decorated. Very comfortable beds and linens. Bathrooms were very well appointed with soft robes and towels. Chris’ breakfasts were huge, and outstanding - no need to eat until supper! We appreciated the laughs and conversation and the suggestions for places to see. Thank you Joe and Chris for a memorable vacation.
