The hotel was affordable for a family room in Luton’s city centre with a spot for coffee, hot chocolate, water and more by the sides whilst you waited to check in.The rooms were also lovely and spacious but needed pest control as there were multiple insects.

Awful hotel. Full of asylum/refugee/homeless types. The first room given was nothing like the photo and description of the room i booked. Box room was tiny and looked like someone had used the bed. The lady kindly did her best and gave me a decent room which was a decent size and comfortable bed. Shower drain was totally blocked and water almost entered room. Carpets were horrendously filthy throughout. Booked this hotel for the included buffet. It was dire. Tiny selection of foods. Cheap beans, cheap tinned tomatoes, frozen fruit salad (still frozen). All really poor quality stuffs. Even tea selection tastes bad. My school dinners were of better quality. Nothing like any buffet breakfast I have ever tasted. It was garbage. There were cockroaches coming out from under the free tea coffee unit and were happily walking about next to my feet. Also Luton is a real dump. The area is full of ******* and unemployable and gypsies. I got high walking around the area as the **** smell is potent. Only redeeming features are close to transport (to get out of here), a the staff are really nice. Security man on the night/day I was here was extremely helpful and kind.

Great hotel for convenience to Luton airport.. one short bus journey away... staff were incredibly helpful and patient when I had a problem with payment card (Leah you were a star!). Room was spacious and spotless, cooked buffet breakfast hot, and lots of variety for cold options. Tea/Coffee available at reception 24hrs... All in all, a lovely atmosphere and I highly recommend it, especially for stop overs for airport travellers... parking is available just outside the front door, and a large mall is conveniently located tight next door for those things u may have forgotten to pack!!

Stayed here for 1 night before catching a flight right in the centre of Luton, parking costs around 8-10 for the night. Hotel itself was clean and staff helpful, would I stay again - yes

Room was very  clean and presentable. The corridors had a strong smell of cigarettes. The breakfast offering was unappealing and hardly anything left when we arrived at 7:30. Decided to skip feared for stomach poisoning.

Thistle Express Luton, never rent room 1008 agsin as it is impossible to sleep due to deafening noise from the heating/Aircon/plumbing which kept me up all night even with ear plugs. The room is a little shabby with peeling wallpaper but it has all basic amenities, and the breakfast was fune. However one is paying a lot for a sleepless night.

Great location to the airport, train station and right in the heart of the town centre. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was decent.

The room is impeccably clean and welcoming, providing a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation. Its location couldn’t be more ideal, just a short walk away from the bustling bus and train stations, as well as a variety of shops and inviting restaurants. However, a noticeable downside is the lack of soundproofing; during my stay, I found myself disturbed by the muffled sounds of snoring and occasional arguments from the neighboring room, which significantly impacted the tranquility I had hoped for.

Had a really good stay at Thistle Express. Really clean rooms and hotel. Friendly helpful staff. And brilliant value for money. Well worth the stay!

Very nice place, no coffee or tea in room but that's the only complaint which is barely worth mentioning. The free breakfast is very good and all the free coffee you want there. Loads and loads of shops near by, an off licence and convenience store a 5 minute walk away. A big mall like 6 or 7 mins away. Very clean.

Everything ok. Nice clean rooms, good breakfast, free coffee 24/7. Friendly and helpfully staff available 24hrs
