"I asked the gentleman at the hotel reception desk to arrange a return car ride from the hotel to Luxor Airport, exchanged a note confirming my intentions on the spot, and paid $15.
I thought it was a little strange that they said they couldn't issue a receipt because the receipt would be handed directly to the driver, but the driver who picked me up when I arrived at the airport on the day and the hotel staff said they didn't know anything about it and charged me $15.
Fortunately, I had time to spare, so I explained the situation and they understood, but that was a disappointment as the hotel itself was very nice and the rooms were spacious."
"The atmosphere is very good, and all the waiters are very nice. I came back from outside and felt safe the moment I came in. The room was quite quiet and comfortable. There is a small refrigerator to keep drinks cool. The location is also good. Luxor is not big, and it feels more convenient to live in the east."
"The hotel has a small courtyard, garden, swimming pool in the yard, the room is also very large, the garden can be seen on the balcony, and the balcony is very comfortable. Breakfast is a simple continental breakfast configured by the head, which is also ok. The boss will ask you what time to eat tomorrow morning the night before? The restaurant brother will wait at the agreed time. I stayed there for five days. In short, it is not bad, except for the poor Wi-Fi signal, the socket is two round holes, and it is very loose, many can not be used, breakfast is less than European and American cucumber, tomato, others are fine. Outside the courtyard is two worlds. The road at the door is not hardened. It is a main street for a few minutes. There are some snacks, a small fruit shop, and a sugarcane juice is very good. You can go to the pier to take a boat to the east bank, the main center is the east bank. Short stay is not recommended, after all, carrying luggage is quite tossing, time is sufficient, there is not much demand for Wi-Fi. You can rest here!"

"SHADY Hotel goves me a unique experience.
First, the staff and the manager is really kind and helpful, they are always willing to help you.
However in my room, the toilet flush is not working.
But i recommend this hotel for people who want a cheap hotel to stay in Luxor"
"I only booked 10,000, but I missed the night's accommodation due to my schedule and arrived at the hotel at noon the next day. The owner said that we could stay in the room in the afternoon to continue resting until we wanted to leave. He was very easy to talk to and very friendly, and helped with the luggage. It's a pity that I only stayed for an hour, so I can't make more comments, but the environment of the homestay itself looks very good and relatively clean. It is located in a village on the west bank of Luxor, which is relatively dilapidated and remote, but not far from the Valley of the Kings."
"The location of this hotel is average, about 5 minutes' drive from the pier in the city center, but it takes 15 minutes to walk. There are no special businesses or shopping places nearby. There is a KFC across the road and I had two meals there. The hotel was renovated about 20 years ago, so it has a very shabby luxury feel. The hotel's elevator also needs to be opened manually, which is very nostalgic and not modern at all. But it is also a hotel that meets the basic requirements."
"The entrance location of the Karnake Temple is about the middle of the temple on the road from Luxor Temple. The navigation is not possible. The free travel is paid attention to and a large circle is circled. All temple hotels can report small groups with cars and it is convenient."
"The hotel has a good location. The room was not luxurious but reasonably clean. Hot water comes out well and AC works well. The biggest reason to choose this hotel is that the staff are very friendly. Also the breakfast was reasonably good. After a hot day of travel, it's great to swim in the pool. The boss of the hotel offered an affordable tour, which I liked very much. I want to say thank you."
"The hotel is on the east bank of Luxor, by the river, close to the downtown area and not far from the attractions. The room has a river view, the scenery is very good, but the facilities are a bit old, the room is not big, the breakfast has few varieties and is not very delicious."

Great
MMbali ThusiThe hotel was okay. The facilities were good and the staff are very helpful. The room is a little dated but still very nice and clean with an amazing pool. We were upgraded to a Nile view which was nice. The sunsets by the pool are also gorgeous. Great location as base for day trips in Luxor.
The only annoying thing was being pestered by vendors to buy at their shops inside the hotel(some wouldn’t take “no, thank you” for an answer), I understand they need to keep business going but all I wanted to do was relax by the pool after a long day of touring and fighting off vendors all day. The food here is also awful (gave free school hostel food vibes), we tried dinner twice and room service in addition to daily breakfast . We paid about 3000EGP for 1 buffet dinner and it was definitely not worth it. Our least favourite food from our 2weeks around Egypt. You can pay less for delicious food elsewhere.
The stay here was okay and staff were generally friendly and nice. No expectations of or demanding tips.
PPF73+ very good service from everyone at the reception to the staff at the restaurants
+excellent location- very close to Luxor Temple and Karnak temple and not very far from the other major sites such as Valley of the Kings
+breakfast buffet was lovely, fresh eggs made to order, pancakes and waffles and big selection of other foods you’d find in a hotel buffet
+I paid about $33 for a dinner buffet, which was great! Freshly made mini burgers were delicious. Cans of soft drink/juice/water included
GGuest UserConveniently located in Luxor town centre; across the road from the Felucca boat terminal and the restaurant area. There is a large and beautiful garden in the hotel compound. The hotel room is large and comfortable. The toilet shower room, however, is not well set up as there is no glass panel adjacent to the shower head to block the shower water from splashing onto the floor in the dry area causing wet floor! The buffet breakfast is rather basic - rather limited variety for a 4/5 -star hotel.
JJinzheVery satisfied, the room hygiene is very good, it was very clean when we arrived, the facilities are also great, the bar, swimming pool are also everything, the breakfast is also great, the service staff are also very friendly, we also gave us juice when we checked in, there was a little problem when checking in, but the staff were very enthusiastic and enthusiastic, even when you get on the elevator, the service staff will not take the same elevator with you, all kinds of details are very satisfactory
GGinabFantastic location just 10 minutes walking distance from Luxor temple. The hotel has beautiful gardens that lead down to the Nile. Choose a Nile view room and you can see across to the Valley of the Kings and the balloon flights early each morning. Excellent service especially from Semon and the reception staff. Good choice at breakfast and 3 restaurants. The outdoor pool is on a pontoon floating on the Nile. All in all excellent.
KKharina97It was a nice hotel, but the food for a 4/5 star hotel was a solid 3 not very good and not many options. And EVERYONE is trying to get a tip from you. The girl only showed me to my room, didn’t bring any of my luggage etc, and stood in the room for 2 minutes before I had to say something. Makes things very awkward and annoying to carry small change when you’ve already paid for a nice hotel and don’t expect the hassling. They won’t outright say it, you can see and feel it and that made it very annoying. No ones help was free. Hotel itself was nice, rooms were decent but AC slightly warmer than I’d have liked. Would stay again but keep those things in mind.
GGuest UserThis is the hotel I am most satisfied with during my one-week stay in Egypt. The staff are very patient, the environment is very good, the garden is beautiful, the security is also very good, and drivers with luggage are not allowed to enter, so it is very safe. The most unexpected thing is that there is also a Chinese restaurant. The scenery on the banks of the Nile is beautiful. I don't know where the bad reviews in the comments come from. The price and quality of a five-star hotel are really worth it. It is very close to the scenic spots. I came back to sleep when I was tired, and there was no charge. The time was extended for free after check-out. I was very touched. It is a very warm hotel. I will stay here again next time.
GGuest UserVery mixed feelings about the experience. Overall I would give 4 stars.
The Bad - only 1. The tour agency. We booked a tour guide and driver to take us to Dendera, Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens and Hatshepsut Temple - this was our itinerary. Our guide took us to all but refused to take us to the Valley of the Queens, instead trying to scam us by taking us to the Alabaster stone factory which was not on our itinerary and despite paying in advance to go to the Valley of Queens instead. The Alabaster stone factory is not a factory, it is a shop to coerce and scam tourists charging $150 for a small piece of rock which many tourists fall for. Tourists at other hotels also complained about this and saw many foreigners being scammed at these so called “factories”. So please be prepared for this and only stick to your schedule that you agreed beforehand.
The Good - the laundry, staff at the hotel (security, waiters, manager) was extremely helpful, kind and friendly. The rooms were amazing and the pool and location was great.
EErna ZaabarI stayed here in early January, and while the location is convenient, my experience was mixed. Upon arrival, the reception area was surprisingly dark despite it being daytime—most hotels usually have sufficient lighting. The lobby area, right in front of the rooms, was also dim with no lights, which felt unusual.
The room wasn’t soundproof; I could clearly hear people talking outside, which affected my comfort. The window locks seemed flimsy—you could shake them, and I could feel cold air seeping in, making the nights especially chilly.
Overall, I’m unsure if these issues stem from budget constraints or just maintenance oversight, but better lighting, soundproofing, and secure windows would greatly improve the guest experience.
MMahesh BabuIt is a fabulous raw and Rustic location in theHeart of Luxor. Just for an local life experience, we moved from exotic beach hotel accomodation to this Hotel. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly!! Best part was the Terrace, It is amazing. The photos we shot on it were simply mesmerising!!
