Beautiful hotel and beautiful staff so friendly and welcoming absolutely brilliant from first expression till last 10/10 massive shout out to GHITA for made my checkin in so seamless and so glad to check out with her too, another shout out to the breakfast receptionist girl I don’t remember her face but she has been so amazing. Very beautiful hotel like a royal palace,

Take the children to play on the weekends, and find that there is no hot water when playing in the water by the sea when going back to the room to take a bath. Called the front desk and waited for half an hour before the workers came to repair it. Because I had reserved dinner, I couldn't wait to fix it, so I had to go to dinner first.
Come back for dinner and find that there is still no hot water! Called the front desk again, waited for nearly an hour, and made several phone calls during the call to see the repair.
Such a high-end resort hotel, there was no hot water in the room, and the maintenance staff came very slowly! Children wait until 10 pm to have a hot bath to sleep!
Called the front desk to complain, asked to speak with the manager, and was told that there was no manager at night ... speechless!
Called Ctrip customer service to complain and was asked to take a picture without hot water! Excuse me, how can I make a film without hot water? ? !! Ctrip's customer service said that it would give 100 yuan for exemption. Can you spend more than 6,300 to book a high-end seaside resort hotel, and encountered super mentally handicapped problems without hot water, can 100 yuan solve the problem? ? ?

Consider it a happy little accident. I had missed my flight home because of the Pearl Harbor Memorial Day Parade and was stuck an extra day on Oahu. I looked to see what was the cheapest hotel room available and the Ka La’i popped up which surprised me. 

Booked the room quick because the Honolulu Marathon was the following day and almost every hotel was sold out. 

I got an ocean view suite with a King bed as my room and loved it. Bathroom was amazing, bed was super comfortable and overall the suite was spacious. Although it had a kitchen it didn’t have a dedicated dining table, even a small one. Only thing in the sitting area was a glass coffee table that was long enough for my needs of just a late night pizza dinner. 

Staff was helpful and even as I was checking out, I casually asked if I could tour the Penthouse suite because I had always wanted to book it. The 2 front desk workers escorted me to the Penthouse and gave me a little tour. It was impressive.  

Definitely would stay there again soon.
