"10/10 experience! RJ checked us in and was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and they were able to provide us toothpaste because we forgot to bring some. Free parking at the hotel, and the breakfast the next morning was also fantastic. Lots of options and the omelettes were actually super tasty! They have coffee 24/7 which is also super nice. We’d definitely love to stay again! "

Cabin at Oaks Village101 Bud DriveLynchburg, VA 24502The Cabin at Oaks Village is located 2 miles from LU campus but feels like country living. With scenic views of the LU Medical Building and the Lynchburg Regional Airport, you will enjoy sipping morning coffee in the bright sunroom or patio. At dusk, enjoy the wildlife that arrives in the neighboring fields to eat and play.Inside you will find a living room with the original log walls. The sofa opens to a queen size bed. This room was the extent of the original home in the early 1900's. There is one nice size bedroom with queen bed. The large country kitchen is fully equipped for cooking meals so you can avoid the crowds at the local restaurants. The kitchen table seats four comfortably and there is a card table and four folding chairs for larger dinner gatherings. The kitchen opens into a small den with Cable TV. Also off the kitchen is the bathroom/laundry room with full size washer and dryer. The beautiful sunroom is furnished with wicker chairs--a great place to read and sip coffee in the mornings. Off the sunroom is the deck, complete with table, umbrella and chairs--another great place to relax! Free Wifi!The Cabin has a ductless heating and air conditioning system for those hot humid days in late summer. However, the 100+ year old oak trees on the property, provide ample shade and there is seldom a day without a nice breeze. GGuest UserFantastic location! If you're looking for a central location from which you can explore Lynchburg, then this is your place. I couldn't believe how close everything was from this location. You have Kroger, Cookout, Liberty University, the River Ridge Mall, Walmart, Target, and a whole host of locations all within a 5 minute drive of the location. Additionally, the hotel is right next to the access to 501 heading to Forest or Downtown Lynchburg. Breakfast was also provided (scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages, bagels, muffins, toast, cereal, and milk). But the best feature of the facility was the friendliness, consideration, and helpfulness of the staff. Steve in particular was very knowledgeable about the area and gave helpful suggestions about where I could find groceries pertaining to my limited diet. He would later follow up with me which I found most considerate. Other staff where either quick to say hello, or respond to questions or offer assistance when needed. Because of the location and the staff, I can't recommend this place enough.

PPaulKaoThis hotel is the best economic chain hotel I have ever stayed in. The health, service and facilities are excellent. The front desk has a beautiful woman and the smile is super sweet. Compared with other hotels that have stayed at the hotel, this is the most cost-effective and highly recommended! The hotel has a parking lot, there is a restaurant next to it, and there is a large shopping center not far from the car, you can buy things.

GGuest UserOver all ,this is and older hotel, but it appears to be taken care of, the rugs in the halls were nice and clean. Getting into the room was a problem, you had to put the room key into the slot many times before you would get a green light to enter. This was every time you went into the room. It took 10-15 minutes for the shower water to get warm/hot, every time.
I purchased a king size bed but was put in a room with two double beds. They claimed that all the king size were booked. I showed them my confirmation of a king size being booked but they said there was nothing they could do since no king size beds were available. The price was very reasonable

BBE ABROADABLE - Nat the ExpatBE AWARE: they told me at checkout yesterday that I’d get my $50 deposit back by the evening. Then they said in 3 days. Now they’re saying in 5 days. Still showing that I was charged on my credit card app… So we’ll see if I get that back!
About our stay: If you’re brave and on a budget, you’ll be fine here. But if you’re big on cleanliness and safety then skip this location.
Random crap on the carpet. Shower handles leak all over the floor, and there’s rust all over the ceiling and stuff shoved into gaps to prevent leaks.
The door isn’t secure at all, and the latch chain could just be ripped off if someone pushed hard on the door.
Blood stains (or at least what appeared to be) on the curtain, which also had a massive rip in it.
PROS: no bedbugs and we definitely felt safe there. If in a pinch, we’d stay again because it was cheap (IF I GET MY DEPOSIT BACK, that is. Otherwise it’s not cheap) People at the hotel were friendly, I just hope they’re not lying about giving my deposit back 😂
Breakfast was cereals, breads, gravy, eggs and sausage, and a waffle maker. Nothing seemed fresh, we didn’t really eat much.
Again, if you want cheap, it’s safe enough and does the job. If you want a refreshing stay, look elsewhere.
