We had the pleasure of staying at Madi Finolhu for 9 nights, over New Year's Eve. Among the thousands of guesthouses of the Maldives we didn't really know how to choose, so we just trusted the good reviews and the happy faces on the pictures. What we found was not only kindness, commitment and hospitality but also beautiful people. Starting from an amazing New Year's Eve, down to the everyday activities and meals, Martin, Shariq and the whole team really went beyond what we expected. Shariq guided us during many snorkeling excursions; we went to see turtles and sharks and also lived the crazy experience of swimming with sharks, rays and lion fish during the night! Not that scary if you have the right guide! Long story made short, we just want to say that Madi Finolhu is the best you can find in Maalhos: private dinners on the beach, dedication and beautiful smiles and stories is what you'll find. Last but not least you'll get amazing food!!! Top chef!

Beautiful, clean accommodation in the heart of the tiny island of Maalhos, one of the greatest treasures of the Maldives. The accommodation is in immaculate condition and both the owner and his main helper Sharik are just great. They guide you around the island, take care and arrange everything you need. For our son's sake they got all sorts of groceries that we couldn't find in the shop, they planted the door to get a cot in the room, just a real treat and human touch. In addition, Sharik takes you on snorkeling and hikes around the area, which he safely guides you through! THANK YOU!

We had an amazing time at Madi Finolhu Guest House. The accommodation clean and adequate all functional. If anyone is expecting, this is not the category of resort that is offered in this destination, but a good choice at a very good price with very good service. Especially the service and care of the manager was excellent. The food was very good with the choice of sitting on the beach amongst the palm trees. Thanks to the manager Shariq who fulfilled our wishes and found us the opportunity to snorkel with manta ray, but also with turtles etc. Thank you

We spent a week at Madi Finolhu and it was the most beautiful holiday ever!!! THe place is amazing!!! The beach is sooo big and you can have it almost for yourself!!! White sand and very clear water! You can have a walk around the island along the beach in 30 min! The location of Madi is super good, next to the beach. We used to have brakfast, lunch, and dinner right at the beach with amazing views!! Shariq the manager of Madi was SUPER FRIENDLY with us, he helped us in everything we needed. He made our experience there super special. He become our friend. We also went for a few dives there and it was AMAZING. So many colourful corals, fish... I will never forget about it. And the manta rays experience at Hanifaru Bay (which is around 15 min by boat from Maalhos island where Madi Finolhu is) as MAGICAL. Hundred of Mantas swimming around us... I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS EXPERIENCE!!!!!! Gema (spain)

Lovely guesthouse just yards from a beautiful beach. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable snd the staff very attentive - had a most wonderful relaxing break - I can highly recommend this Guesthouse

Très bel endroit où passer des vacances dans une île locale. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres,. La douche à ciel ouvert. Les repas sont a thématique indienne un régal. Les repas sur la plages magnifiques avec toutes les attentions portées par Shariq et Mamoon Merci à vous de nous avoir fait sentir aussi bien en vacances.

We stayed at Madi Finolhu guesthouse for 4 nights in July 2022. When we arrived, we were welcomed by Marteen and Mamoon, who were both super friendly and did everything they could to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The room was very spacious, with a large big bed and lots of room to maneuver. We especially liked the shower, which was partially outside and provided really hot water continuously - really nice after long days of snorkeling or diving! Breakfast was serviced daily in Marteen's café, we really enjoyed the fact that he provided a local Maldivian breakfast each morning. The reef in front of the island is nice, with lots of fish and some patches of live corals. During our stay, I got my Advanced Padi Open Water license with Manta Tribe Maldives diving center, who were great and took us to some nice dive spots. All in all we had a pleasant stay at Madi Finolhi on Maalhos. Since the ferry was not running due to rough seas, the guesthouse provided private transport to our next island. Thank you Marteen and Mamoon for your kind service and attention during our stay!
