This was the best accommodation during our Chiang Mai–Chiang Rai trip with my mother. The staff were very helpful, breakfast was delicious and generous, and most importantly, the room and bed were extremely comfortable. The room was well-equipped, very clean, and had everything we needed. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Doi Tung who is looking for a nice place to stay with good atmosphere and great food. Bonus—when we woke up in the morning, we were lucky to catch a beautiful misty view!

Great hospitality staff and beautiful hotel. Our mountain view room was spectacular and worth paying for. Just amazing stay.

The room was clean and well appointed, nice shower and bed, so no complaints there. We had hoped that the balcony would be a place to sit and relax in the morning, but the small chair and table barely fit in the narrow space and the balcony wall too high to see over when seated. The “Mountain View” is literally a view to the top of one mountain, otherwise you look over grass to a few banana trees blocking the view. The front desk closes at 8 and they are the ones that give out WiFi codes, (one per device) so ask for those early. The last order in the restaurant was at 6:30pm, way too early. We had to drive up the hill to the restaurant before going to our room. Not a bad stay just expecting a little more.

Great for an overnight trip from Chiang Rai, we went on a scooter approx 70 mins, we returned the more scenic way via mail chalong / Mai chan.. otherwise mostly expressway. Doi tung is clean, tidy and very picturesque.. we visited auditorium/ garden with great views, 20 mins From Doi Tung.. The lodge is lovely too, amazing rooms, 5* and views / breakfast were nice too

This hotel is located in Doi Tung Palace area The atmosphere is peaceful amidst the nature. Medium-sized room that looks old outside, but the interior should have been renovated because it looks okay and very clean. The facilities are complete and good.h
