Außergewöhnlich schöner Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist sehr idyllisch, ruhig und man kann richtig entspannen und abschalten. Das Highlight sind die Elefanten. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Verpflegung ist sehr lecker und ausreichend. Klare Empfehlung!!! One-Life-Time-Experience

Best vacation ever, amazing experience with elephants. We stayed at riverside, its a cute bamboo lodge, my son jumped into the river anytime he wants. We joined the full day jungle tour, our guide Sam was fantastic. He knows the village very well, very fun to hangout with. The elephants are definitely the star over there, my son didn't want to leave in the end of the trip. Highly recommend.

這個住宿不能和正常酒店去比較哈。我住的是河邊最邊緣的房間，房間裡面很原始，沒空調沒信號沒WiFi沒電話沒毛巾牙刷拖鞋只有沐浴露和瓶裝水和電風扇。山路真的很難走，特別是下雨天。我那天早上大象叫早因為下雨天水位太高大象過不來還被取消了。Host不是很專業 都要主動去問 叫早被取消了沒人通知 傻傻的在房間等 因為房間沒有電話 沒有WiFi 手機在村裡房間完全沒有信號 有事要走路到接待處去問。遠途都是泥路。其實住在山上會方便很多。但是我還是覺得很值得。雖然不是享受型體驗。但是真的很特別的過程。我選擇了和大象洗澡 一個人要1200泰銖 很好玩。這是一個大象保育的目的。有機會還是會再去。

nice place can play with elephants anytime, a lot of dogs and feel like quite freedom, countryside and relaxing. facilities not really good and have to say , really worth to try this different experience, btw the stars in the night are amazing. wonderful experience

Booking here was honestly an absolute disaster, but the activities and elephant experience was absolutely wonderful. I emailed a few months in advance after being confused by all the options online to confirm my booking. There are several room options and I am honestly still very confused how to book which room you want. At check in, the employees did not know we were spending the night and thought we were only doing the Doi Inanthonan tour, which was concerning. Upon arrival, we immediately went into the tour of Doi Inanthanon. It would have been nice to have some time to put our things in our room, change, etc, and we did feel a bit rushed into the activity. The highlight of the tour was definitely the hike led by a local Thai woman and the lunch following. It was lovely and probably one of the best meals I had during my time in Thailand. There was alot more driving involved in this tour than I expected. An hour to the park and another two hours back at the end of the day. Once we got back to Chai Lai Orchid, they told me I couldn’t have two nights in the private bungalow, I would need to have one in one spot and the second night in the other. This was confusing, but whatever. They mentioned the private bungalow we would have the next time was new and had a bathtub. Breakfast the next morning with the elephants was lovely. We then started our hike to the waterfalls with our tour guide, Sion. Sion is an absolute light and we absolutely adored him. He did everything perfectly and was such a fun host and leader. This hike was literally the hardest thing I’ve ever done and took MUCH longer than the website leads on. We did the hike to the waterfall from around 9:30am to 3:30pm and all the other activities on the tour the following day. This hike was not beginner mode but so fun. The lunch he made us, including the vegetarian soup with lemongrass, mushrooms, and cucumbers was so delicious and one of my favorite things I ate in Thailand. After the hike, we went back to Chai Lai Orchid to get our luggage and checkout. I was confused why we were checking out in the middle of our stay, but again, whatever. Then, we drove to our bungalow which ended up being a home stay in the Karen village. I think we would have enjoyed ourselves here and it seemed like a lovely experience, but not what I booked. I looked back at emails and confirmed I had emailed them a few months back to confirm I wanted 2 nights in the private bungalow. I just don’t think anyone actually read my email or saw I had questions about booking and wanted to make sure I was booking the correct option. Also, this obviously was not the new bungalow with the bathtub. I emailed Chai Lai Orchid to ask them if we could still go to the private bungalow and they did solve the issue. It still was not the room I requested with the bathtub, but whatever, it was a beautiful room with a beautiful view of the river. FANTASTIC experience, highly recommended. The staff was wonderful. We stayed at the Karen Village Homestay and it exceeded our expectations! Clean accommodations, great food, hot water with a private bathroom, and a creek running behind our bungalow. The elephant excursion was truly amazing! A true experience that will be forever remembered.

Our family did a one day private tour with chai lai orchid. The guide Tatoo was very patient and full of smiles! We had a very pleasant and healing time bonding with the locals and observing rescue elephants. Chai lai orchid’s location is very serene and picturesque. This tour is very suitable for seniors and children.

An amazing experience that we will never forget. Our brilliant guide, Chai was extremely knowledgeable and it was very insightful to have a tour given by a local. We had a great time with the elephants, which seemed to be treated very well with care.

A fuir ! Je rejoins malheureusement certains récents commentaires sur l'état de délabrement de l'infrastructure. je mets 1 car on ne peut pas mettre 0. L'expérience a été affreuse avec cet établissement qui confond eco lodge et pourri lodge. On peut être éco, sommaire et simple mais les lodges sont délabrés, l'accès dangereux et pas sécurisé, la rampe pour accéder à la chambre est tombée alors que je la tenais avec ma valise, le sol de la chambre rongé par l'humidité, les trous et les lattes remplis de clous rouillés. De plus, cet établissement est malhonnête. A peine arrivé, ils réclament l'argent et le prix d'un lit supplémentaire alors que j'ai réservé une chambre pour 3. Pour ce qui est de l'activité d'une 1/2journée avec les éléphants... je ne suis pas du tout en phase avec ce qu'ils annoncent à savoir traitement éthique ... Les éléphants sont gavés de bananes par les touristes toute la journée, les guides les parquent sous les sortes de toits ouverts en attendant le prochain groupe de touristes. Et après, baignade avec éléphant, ils sont en permanence au contact avec les touristes qui les touche etc. Vous avez dit éthique ? ben, on n'a pas le même sens du mot alors. Bref, de déception en déception et surtout par conviction, nous avons préféré quitter l'établissement, ne pas y passer la nuit réservée car la sécurité des lieux n'est pas au rdv pour accueillir du public. Le dialogue est quasi impossible avec le personnel qui parle très mal anglais. Bref, une très mauvaise expérience, une déception pour nos enfants et nos valeurs. Instagram vend du rêve avec des photos qui ne ressemblent pas à la réalité des lieux. Mais qu'est ce que certains touristes ne feraient pas pour un selfie !

Tuvimos una experiencia inolvidable en el santuario. Viajé con mi mejor amiga y, por un error de fechas, nuestra reserva era para otro día. Aun así, cuando llamamos, el equipo fue sumamente amable y flexible: nos permitieron unirnos ese mismo día y hasta nos enviaron un taxi para recogernos. ¡Una atención excelente desde el primer momento! Además, aunque habíamos reservado el tour grupal, finalmente tuvimos la suerte de disfrutarlo como una experiencia privada. Lo que hizo realmente especial esta excursión fue nuestro guía, Mr. Napakun Kodbanyad. Es una persona cálida, respetuosa y con una conexión evidente con los elefantes. Se tomó el tiempo de explicarnos todo, responder nuestras preguntas y guiarnos con mucho cariño. Su dedicación y pasión por su trabajo marcaron la diferencia. Fue como tener a un amigo guiándonos por un lugar que ama profundamente. Ver a los elefantes en libertad, felices y bien cuidados fue un sueño cumplido. Pero fue gracias a Mr. Napakun que esa experiencia se volvió aún más significativa. ¡Gracias por tanto!

Unforgettable 2 day experience - the guides Son and Pohp couldn’t do enough for us and prepared a sumptuous lunch in the jungle during our trek. The accommodation was perfect, next to the river in cosy, comfortable bamboo tiny houses. The trek is a proper walk and was sloppy in parts due to the recent rain. Fed the elephants, learned about them, bathed with them, walked with them in such a natural environment. Loved it all, thanks for the special memories!

juil. 2025 Nous avons vécu une expérience inoubliable avec les éléphants. Nos filles et nous même étions émerveillés devant ces énormes animaux si attendrissants. Notre guide et toute l'équipe ont été super attentif à nos besoins tout au long de la journée. Pour ce qui est du logement nous étions coté jardin dans la chambre Lotus 2. Nous avions demandé un lit d'appoint pour une de nos filles. La cabane était tres sommaire et avions l'impression de dormir dehors avec les trous dans le parquet et un peu partout dans la chambre...les 2 lits de nos filles étaient extrêmement durs et les matelas posés au sol. Cela nous a tout de meme valu de beaux fous rires et de très bons souvenirs Et enfin, juste avant de partir, en plein petit déjeuner (excellent d'ailleurs), nous avons eu la visite d'un éléphant avec qui nous avons pu partager le petit déjeuner Par ailleurs, le restaurant propose de très bons plats et cocktails. Je recommande ce lieu à 100%
