Well where do we start …
- No air conditioning instead we have to put up with heating or have the door open which attracted the bugs to come in then woke up with insect bites.
- No hot running water for 8 hours instead told by reception to take a “cold” shower
- Unclean sheets due to friend spilling a cup of tea. Came back to the hotel to find the bed had been made by the chamber maid but ignored the fact it was unclean and it wasn’t till we pulled back the sheets to find she ignored it and made it with the dirty sheets.(Anyone with a slight common sense would put fresh sheets on)

The rooms were clean and the hotel was really nice. The pool area and outside bar had a great buzz. The staff were lovely and friendly too, and you could have a laugh with them. The location was good, two beaches nearby- one for younger adults and the other more family friendly. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I stayed at Apartamentos Sotavento for a few days with friends and we had a fantastic experience. The hotel was great – clean, modern, and perfect for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was included and had a great variety to choose from, all really tasty. We also had lunch at the hotel and were impressed by both the quality and portion sizes. The staff truly stood out – incredibly professional, super friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning!

Just got back from a long weekend stay at Sotavento, we had the best time! Staff around the hotel are all so friendly, food was amazing! Sonja was a great help before we arrived and when we got there. Would 100% recommend this hotel.. and the hill isn’t as bad as everyone says.. just have that extra drink😉🥂

Arrived around 8pm and given an apartment on the ground floor smelling of cigarettes and overlooking the carpark, Ana on reception was very helpful, explained that they were full but would get us moved the next morning. Ricardo arrived 10.30am and gave us a lovely apartment on the 3rd floor, very clean, well equipped kitchen and with views of the sea and mountains. Staff were very helpful. Sotovento just a few minutes walk to the main area with plenty of bars, eateries and supermarkets. Would definitely stay here again.

My youngest daughter organised a hen party at the hotel Sotavento, I was pleasantly surprized how good is was. The hotel offered good daytime entertailment, the whole hotel was clean and tidy, security was excellant and the staff WOW fantastic service from everyone. The catering staff were quick, friendly and fun. The bar team were the same and management were very observant. Hotel rooms clean, tidy and comfortable, shower area very good, and kitchen was adequate if you wanted to cook. The rooms were cleaned and towels replaced after 2 days which was great. Fantastic Hotel in a good location.

We went for a hen weekend apr 25-29th On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful and continued throughout our stay We felt at ease right away on arrival and had a good laugh with the staff throughout our stay Enrique was brilliant in sorting our room when it wasnt ready on arrival and was amazin throughout our stay! We loved the atmosphere which was more than we expected as we have not stayed here before this The rooms were very nice, beds were comfy but the sofa beds were just a bit too hard for 2 of group (nothing beats your own bed!) The cleanin staff were also friendly and did a great job The food was really nice both breakfast and lunch We enjoyed it and are planning on returning in 2026 for another group stay

Beautiful stay with my boyfriend! The staff really make the time for you and are so lovely. Everything about our stay was great, couldn’t have asked for a better holiday! Would definitely recommend if staying in maga as it’s not too far from the ***** but away from the noise. Also the frozen mango daiquiris were incred thankyou guys xxx

What can I say, this hotel is fantastic, spacious and modern rooms, brilliant pool area and fantastic staff who are super friendly! Food and drinks are amazing and reasonably priced music round the pool is great Lovely place to say can’t recommend it enough
