Très bel établissement excentré au bout de zone touristique. Personnel professionnel et avenant, sauf ceux de la réception l'après midi. Animation sympathique et familiale. Les animateurs sont très sympas.Chambres très confortables et très propre. La climatisation est souvent poussive. Repas corrects mais très répétitifs. Il faut absolument prendre la formule all inclusive, car en demi pension tout se paie et les consommations aux bars sont au prix français (11€ un cocktail light et un demi de bière tiède). Il n'y a rien à proximité de l'hôtel. Grande Piscine et belle plage équipée.

HORRIBLE je tiens à préciser que je viens quasiment chaque année et que cette fois si on a touché le fond Je me suis fait voler 350 dinars et 20 euros dans ma chambre dès la premier jour En m’ absentant 10 min le temps de réserver les massages au spa, je retrouve une femme de ménage dans ma chambre, comme surprise. Je suis très étonné de voir une femme de ménage 30 min apres mon arrive surtout que la chambre était impeccable et qu’il ne manquait rien. Je vérifier mon argent que j’avais laissé dans mon sac plusieurs fois car je n’arrivais pas à y croire Après avoir constaté le vol, je me rends à la réception pour le signaler, la femme de ménage étant bizarrement à la réception à ce moment là. Puis lorsqu’elle comprend que je me plains d’un vol, elle commence à partir discrètement, puis je signale au réceptionniste que c’est elle qui m’a volé, il l’appelle fermement ! Et elle fait semblant de rien entendre à plusieurs reprises! Avec la passivité du réceptionniste ! Aujourd’hui j’en suis convaincu, ils sont complices je pense que c’est un réceptionniste qui l’a envoyé dans ma chambre après avoir payer la taxe de séjour et vu où je placer mon argent. Je cite le comportement inadmissible du réceptionniste : « wallah elle a pas volé, je la connais » « recompte ton argent tu es peut être fatigué » « arrête de faire ton cinéma » « on va vérifier au camera le responsable arrive à 20h » ( je lui fait d’ailleurs constater visuellement Apres avoir insister qu’il n’y a pas de caméra dans ce couloir. Propos parfaitement irrespectueux et déplacés envers un client Je me suis plains au « directeur » qui en a retiré ses lunettes en haussons le ton pour dire qu’ils n’étaient pas responsable des vol dans la chambre. Je tiens à préciser également que durant le séjour je leur ai demandé le mail du directeur qui ne m’as jamais été communiqué. Le directeur lui même me refusant de me le divulguer. J’ai envoyé un mail à l’adresse qu’on a bien voulu me donner, sans reponse. J’ai du appelé la police et porter plainte. Le tout en ratant le dîner du soir, après une journée de voyage. Merci Ensuite, le personnel de cuisine, celui qui s’occupe des pizzas. A juger nécessaire de prononcé un « baraneyek » car j’ai pas pris sa pizza froide de devant mais plutôt une chaude de derrière. Je pense qu’il y a un problème systématique au sein de cet hôtel qui était pourtant très bien auparavant. Je vous rappelle que la sécurité de vos clients et de leurs biens relève de votre entière responsabilité. En laissant votre personnel agir de la sorte, c’est la responsabilité civile et commerciale de votre établissement qui est engagée. Je suis vraiment très déçu

I recently stayed at this so-called 5-star all-inclusive hotel, and I feel compelled to share my experience in the hope that it helps future travelers make a more informed decision. Upon arrival, we were asked to pay a 60 TND deposit for beach towels, which could only be exchanged in the evening and picked up again the next morning before 8 a.m., if available at all. Sunbeds were “reserved” with towels as early as 6 a.m., making it nearly impossible to find a spot later in the day. The rooms are outdated and poorly maintained. One of the light switches was dangerously loose, exposing us to a real risk of electric shock. The air conditioning did not work for the first three days of our stay. The food was well below acceptable standards: limited variety, and on multiple occasions we were served undercooked fish, turkey, and even omelets. When we raised this with the staff, we were told they were understaffed and “that’s just how it is.” Around the pool area, many tiles were cracked or chipped, creating a safety hazard, especially for children. The beach was dirty, littered with plastic bottles, wrappers, and cigarette butts. Moreover, beach services are not included in the all-inclusive package and must be paid separately. Housekeeping was inconsistent and superficial—our room was cleaned only 4 times in 6 days, toiletries were never replenished, the closets were full of dust, and the room had ants and even a few cockroaches. The staff was largely unresponsive. Reporting an issue would usually be met with a simple “okay,” and no follow-up or resolution. Even tipping did not improve the service. Lastly, breakfast ends at 10:00 a.m. sharp—and at 10:02, I was asked to leave the restaurant even though I was still eating. In summary, this hotel does not meet even basic 3-star standards, let alone five. The facilities are outdated, hygiene is lacking, and service is far from what one should expect from a high-rated resort. I strongly advise reconsidering if you are looking for a clean, relaxing, and professionally managed holiday

Wonderful place. The hotel is very elegant. The rooms are comfortable. The food is very good. I recommend especially the desserts and fruits. Beautiful beach. Very nice and always smiling staff. Great animators, full of energy. They know how to engage guests in activities. They are happy to talk to guests to make their stay more pleasant (special greetings to Aziz). I highly recommend a vacation in this place!

My holiday in this hotel was amazing thanks to the super animators Alex Rio, Bob Ash and super Azis. Super beach, bar, kitchen, good room, good environment, excellent games with animators pytang and Aqua in the pool and on the beach they were amazing we had a great time here we recommend this hotel for families

My stay at Mahdia Palace was fantastic, and the animation team played a big part in making it so enjoyable. They were always full of energy and smiles, creating a warm and fun environment for all ages. Whether you were traveling alone, as a couple, or with family, they made sure everyone felt included. The daily activities were well-organized and diverse — from morning stretching with Mr Alex and pool games to beach sports and dance sessions. They really brought the resort to life and encouraged people to get involved without any pressure. Even if you just wanted to watch, the vibe was always positive and entertaining. The evening shows were a real treat — creative, fun, and often hilarious! You could tell how much time and passion they put into their performances. It wasn’t just typical hotel entertainment; it actually felt like a mini theater experience each night. What I appreciated most was how the team balanced professionalism with friendliness. They were respectfulMr shako rio achref all of them , approachable, and clearly loved what they were doing. It made the atmosphere so much more welcoming. Massive thanks to the whole animation crew — you truly made the holiday special. I would definitely return, just to experience that amazing energy again!
