"Great place to stay! Absolute prime location right across the road from the beach and we felt a lot more relaxed being just a little bit down the road from the very busy (albeit beautiful) Surfers Paradise. Such a great place to head out from on walks or ebikes and so many things to do nearby. Tedder Ave was just a short walk away and had heaps of eating spots to make the whole family happy. The lady at reception was so helpful and informative on things to do with the kids. We stayed on level 11 in a 2 bedroom apartment with a role out bed for our 3rd child and it was fantastic. Heaps of room for a family of 5, everything you need for a comfortable stay and we found everything clean and tidy. When we walked in the door we all actually squealed with excitement at the view, it really is amazing! "

"Parking spaces are far less than enough. Cannot find one on all three days of stay (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday) Hotel can give you tickets of all theme parks before check-in time (15:00) when you approach the front desk or when you check-in on-line. Unfortunately, the link given to me was not working. If that link works, I can go direct to the theme parks before visiting the hotel. Very convenient for entering Sea World (just get in through the gift shop next to the hotel front desk). Probably that's the reason why the car park is always full. Desert at lounge cafe is good. The check-out time (10:00) seems a bit too early."

"We had a lovely 3 bedroom apartment with magnificent ocean views. The apartment was extremely spacious and lovely and clean. The beds were so comfy. Everything you could possibly need is in apartment. Manager Michael is the best we have ever met and had the pleasure of dealing with in over 40 years of going to Gold Coast!!!!!!!! We will DEFINITELY be back next holiday."

"After reading some of the the reviews I was somewhat concerned. I had read a review mentioning a particular unit and how dreadful it was but I can’t find it again. Very strange! Anyway we arrived only to find we were in that very same unit!😬. We unlocked the door with trepidation only to be pleasantly surprised. The unit is spacious and had a lovely view overlooking the bay. It had everything we needed and it was wonderful to be able to do all our washing ( 4 weeks worth) before flying home to the UK. Just a short walk to the tram. We were here when they were setting up for the Gold Coast 500 but even that didn’t seem to make things busier. it’s a little dated and some of the furnishings are really worn out but that didn’t impact on our stay and also I wouldn’t furnish out a rented property in the very best decor because it will get damaged. All in all very good value for money and we loved the apartment living. We’ve always been hotel people but this experience has made us think again. "

"Attended for a conference and this hotel is seriously impressive. Service was excellent - very friendly staff who all seem willing to help. The rooms are starting to look a little tired (marks on walls and bumps etc on cupboards) but overall it is a nice hotel. Food is good, especially the buffet breakfast. Layout makes it feel private but still with nice views or outlook from each room. If you want a great pool and beach access - this is the place to stay."

"Taking into account that we had those massive storms on the Gold Coast and that it appeared to be in the middle of an improvement with new beds. I was extremely disappointed that the air conditioning units, to put it bluntly, were filthy! The two units, even though they were good brands ( Panasonic) when checking the filters, looked as though they had not been cleaned for over 6 months. The filters were CLOGGED with dust and dirt, which made them highly unhealthy for the occupants staying there. The filters had the potential to harbour various air pollutants such as dust particles, pollen, odour, and even bacteria. If you have people allergic to any of these particles, then it’s certain that they have the potential to be affected. For instance, people with asthma or certain allergies might start experiencing difficulties staying in the apartment. Also, some of the bacteria that might make their way into your apartment might cause diseases. When the air filter is dirty, it means that it can’t sieve out the dust, pollen, and other particles from the air. Consequently, the quality of your indoor air is reduced. This means that the air being blown through the vents contains various dust particles and microorganisms that might be harmful to people in the apartment. I know this as I have sold a/c units for over 40 years. I have now retired."
