Typical Hotel Route Inn style. Small room. But guests would find what they need including onsen, laundromat, breakfast and sufficient car parking af free of charges.

I stayed one night at Hotel Route Inn Kyoto Maizuru with a late check-in, and I’m really glad I booked it—even just for a quick transit to another city the next day. Once you step out of Nishi-Maizuru Station, you’ll see the hotel right away. The location was super convenient for me, especially since I arrived from Hokkaido via ferry at Maizuru Ferry Terminal. Everything felt new and well-maintained. The room was surprisingly spacious for a solo traveler, super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I wish I’d stayed longer! I especially loved their onsen/public bath, which I used just before it closed at 2 AM. The breakfast was good too. If I remember correctly, there’s a nearby bar, restaurants, a Yoshinoya, and a Family Mart—so even though I arrived late, I still managed to have a proper meal.

The hotel was super clean, and super courteous when I messed up the reservation and refunded me one night that I made a mistake on. I will definitely look forward to trying to stay here again!

Normal business hotel, with nice room and public bath. However I was really disappointed in the breakfast service. No space to seat and a lot of food was finished (I was there 1 hour before the closing). I used this hotel chain many times, and this place had bad service. They need someone to control the traffic or change to shift. Like this was terrible

The room is spacious and fit for 2 luggages. The public bath is relaxing.

location near to train station and bus station. they have osen have honestly guests. free coffee that can be taken out. room is big enough to place 2 luggage .

It’s normal Japan business hotel, small, clean and have everything you need. Don’t expect any service and big room and you are good to go.

Plenty of free parking spaces right in front of the hotel. 👍🏻 Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Decent breakfast. High recommend this hotel.
