I love the staff at this hotel, friendly and helpful. Comfortable rooms, good size, clean, good location. I was there working and definitely recommend this hotel. Staff were able to direct us to necessary things we needed, such as phone/wifi needs etc.

Marshall Islands Resort is a tropical paradise. This was my 12 recent visit to relax and enjoy the pristine beaches and the beautiful Marshall Islands in Majuro the capital city of the Marshall Islands. I really enjoyed the hospitality and the atmosphere of the people of the Republic of the Marshall Islands. They are friendly and very kind people to give them a company to get to know th

Where do I start. The pool is closed. The fitness room is closed. They are constantly working on the salt water lines that fill the toilet toilets(At least that’s what the said) so you have to use the shower sprayer to fill the toilet, there is very questionable wiring throughout the room, stray cats are all over the property and pooped on my porch, there is no hot water in the sink, only in the shower, and I question the safety of wiring an on-demand water heater, literally in the shower. The basketball/tennis court that is advertised on the website is a parking lot. The mattresses are old and worn, and I had a spring that was poking through in one of the mattresses in my room. The sheets are equally worn and thread, bear, and mine had several holes in them. The doors still use an actual key, so you have to be mindful to lock your room when you leave, the doors do not always shut completely and you have to be mindful to make sure it is shut and latched. The hotel is obviously aware of this as they have a sign on the back of the doors that address what security will do when they find your door slightly ajar. The hotel “beach” is not something that I would recommend. There is some sand that you can walk down on near the water, but I certainly wouldn’t get in the water in this area, particularly after heavy rains. On the good side, the shuttle does meet you right at the airport when the flight comes in, and the front desk and the restaurant staff were very friendly. Past reviews have complained about the Wi-Fi and Internet, but it appears that they have put routers in each of the rooms , and there is common area Wi-Fi, and it seems to work well. It was able to support FaceTime calls home. There is a refrigerator in the room that works, and there is a supermarket very close by where you can buy things to have snacks and cold drinks in your room, and much more affordable than buying at the hotel. There is a fairly safe route to go jogging near the hotel that we mapped out at one and a quarter miles.

Marshall Islands don't get many tourists and the hotel seems to cater more to contractors and NGO visitors. It appears to be constantly undergoing repairs as the years take their toll. Still, everything in the room worked (not the phone) and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant is really good with a variety of local and imported foods on offer. Next door is a small food stand with fresh fruit and some snack items.

The Marshallese people, outside the hotel and restaurant staff, are the most unfriendly I've ever encountered. The website describing the island and the people here are grandiose and exaggerated. It's an atoll not an island which means everything is build on a coral reef. They can't grow anything. Everything you find in a restaurant or a grocery store is imported. It's an expensive place with not much available.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Marshall Islands Resort. Although sorely in need of renovation (currently underway), it was a very comfortable stay. Our airport pick-up came off without a hitch and we were whisked off to the hotel. The location is good, sandwiched between the main road and the lagoon waterfront – beautiful views from the rooms. The room was basic and in need of renovation, but comfortable, clean, and bright. The AC worked very well and the Wifi connection was fast and dependable. The internet TV worked great and the mini-fridge was a nice bonus. We had a balcony overlooking the lagoon – amazing views! The downstairs restaurant was good with a diverse menu and nice setting on the waterfront. Service at both the hotel and restaurant was fairly average overall. The pool was not in operation, nor was the gym, due to the ongoing renovations. There is not really a good swimming area in front of the hotel. The town itself is not really that easy to walk around as there are no sidewalks. There is a decent little café just across the road and a big supermarket about 5-10 min walk away. Overall we had a good stay and would recommend it to other travelers.

My wife and I stayed 1 night, arriving at noon from MAJ Airport, met by the hotel driver holding a sign and joining 2 others for the 11km van ride east. 2 nice friendly receptionists copied our passports, took the credit card payment, provided the key to our lagoon view double and pointed out the lobby wifi desk. Room #235 was clean, tiled and quiet with 2 comfortable doubles, refer below the TV and hot pot at the desk. We drank boiled or bottled water(2 bottles provided). Inconsistant hot water was limited to an electric unit at the shower head. A sliding door accessed the balcony with a water view over the roofs around the pool, currently under renovation. The silent wall AC was appreciated as was the room’s secure WIFI hotspot provided with assistance from the desk, who also printed tomorrow’s boarding passes. We walked 650m east along the main road to the center’s wonderful Island Pride Supermarket where most of the islanders shop. This hotel was the perfect location for our 1 night with included airport transfers and nice accommodation.

My experience was very good. Staff very polite and helpful, rooms were clean and are fine for the price, restaurant staff very good and menu selection excellent for the area. Prices were fair and I enjoyed all of my selections. Would definitely recommend.

Nice enough. Room is a litte dark, but clean and spacious. My toilet ran constantly. Mentioned to staff but wasn't fixed (probably would have been if i asked again). Wasn't a huge problem as i couldnt hear it when the bathroom door was closed. WiFi is available but quite patchy. Restaurant food is so so. Staff friendly and helpful.
