We had such a lovely time staying at the JW Marriott. From our arrival to the airport, to our departure, the service was impeccable. On arrival we were greeted by Irey our safeeru. He helped us book the restaurants, spa experiences, excursions, and also made our stay extra special with some thoughtful gestures. The room itself was beautifully designed with plenty of space. In-room pool was clean and had a nice view. We also loved the fitness center and especially the trainer Madu who helped us with workouts, stretching and cooling off with cold towels. Breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever seen, with many made-to-order stations so the food was fresh. We were helped many times by Shaee the waiter, who made our meals enjoyable. He had even found a hat that my husband misplaced at the restaurant. Overall, a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Maldives.

I recently stayed at the brand-new JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll, and wow—it totally blew me away! The villas are huge, like seriously spacious, with bathrooms so big they almost felt like a second room. Everything is super modern but still cozy, making it easy to just relax and feel at home. I was lucky enough to stay in an overwater villa with my own private pool and the views… just unreal. Waking up and stepping out onto the deck with the endless ocean right below was honestly a dream come true. The pool was perfect for chilling while soaking it all in. The food? Absolutely delicious. So many tasty options, and every meal felt special. And the spa—the overwater setting made it feel like a little slice of heaven where I could completely unwind. All in all, JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll is a stunning, fresh new place that nails luxury and comfort. I’m already dreaming about my next visit!

The hotel opened in January 2025 and is still very new. The rooms are beautiful and so is the rest of the resort. The staff is very well trained and is very much focused on making your vacation a personalized one. We had a butler called Isse who was of great help during our stay. Shaffa and Sam in the restaurant also were excellent. Shaffa kept serving champagne based mimosa drinks in the morning. The resort is located only a 15 minute boat ride from the airport in a beautiful blue lagoon. It was a wonderful stay and we certainly will be back. Thanks to the whole team.

We recently stayed at the JW Marriott Maldives in Kaafu Atoll and overall had an amazing experience. The resort is absolutely stunning — everything is brand new, beautifully designed, and well thought-out. From the villas to the views.. That said, our stay didn’t start off as smoothly as we hoped. Our initial butler, Nour, unfortunately didn’t take good care of us. Communication was difficult, things were often missed or delayed, and we felt a bit frustrated given the level of service we expected. Thankfully, the management handled the situation professionally and quickly. They reassigned us to a new butler, Hamdhoon, and that completely turned things around. He was truly exceptional — attentive, warm, and on top of every detail. From arranging activities to checking in on us regularly, he made sure we were finally getting the 5-star service we came for. He really made up for the rocky start and was a huge part of why the rest of our trip was so enjoyable. Also want to mention Amjad from Wahoo — super friendly and welcoming every time we came by. He made us feel right at home and always had a smile on. And huge thanks to the Sri Lankan chef (didn’t catch the name!) who went out of his way to make sure everything with the food was perfect — he checked on us personally and genuinely cared that we were happy with each meal. Highly recommend — just make sure you’re assigned to someone like Hamdhoon from the start!
