"We spent 10 days at Futura hotel, in a suite with 2 bedrooms/2 badrooms and a balcony with view on the mountains (no other availability for that kind of suite) and self catering. Let’s start with the good points ; *The staff is friendly and pretty reactive. *Breakfast as well as food at the bar was really good. *The pool is nice but can get crowded if you are not there early enough. *Our « suite » was big enough for 5 and all the necessary equipment was there to cook one in a while. Let’s move to the bad ; *The view on the mountains was more like a view on the street and a big electric pole (literally 2meters away from the balcony) *The room was not cleaned when we got it as we found trash under the beds. The cleaning team was sent after feedback to the reception. *The balcony was a complete mess, broken tiles so that you could not walk barefeet without risking to cut yourself. The wood railing as well as the stairs were broken with nails sticking out of it. When adressing this issue to the staff the only answer was « it is known but we can’t modernise everything at the same time». I was not so much asking for something modern but for something safe for my kids. We had 5 wasp nests in the balcony railing and informed the hotel staff about it. Unfortunately nothing was done. This made the balcony a no go zone for our stay…such a shame when you could have a drink outside in the evening or a coffee in the morning. We asked for a late check out and were charged 40euros for it. The hotel staff could have seen there a way to compensate the few issues we had by not charging us… Had an amazing time in Crete but disappointed by the hotel as it had the potential to make our holiday when looking around, it seemed like our appartment was the only one to have these problems…) "

"When my wife and I go on holiday all we usually do is sit on the beach and relax. We chose the Ledra due to being so close to the beach, however we did not spend one day on the beach. The relaxing environment around the pool was absolutely fantastic with all day sunshine (plenty of umbrellas if to hot) and a poolside bar one side of pool and a restaurant the other side you have all you ever need. Costa the owner is everywhere in the complex and is all ways at hand to help you enjoy the experience even more. There are not many restaurants in Maleme but don't bother with any of them because the Ledra restaurant is fantastic for either light lunch or evening meal. An added bonus is we have meet some new life long friends and it was the atmosphere of the Ledra and facilities that enhanced the friendship, The rooms are plenty big enough and have everything you need for a self catering holiday. Finally a big thank you Costa, Peter and all the staff - see you next year."

"It's a great hotel with great and helpful staff, always smiling and with good energy, our family been more then happy for our stay here, I'm sure we will come back again 😀 😊 definitely a place to visit, you have beach 30 meters from the hotel too. Two pools, fitness center what's not to like 😎🌞 great buffet with loads of new dishes each day. They also went in a extra bit and celebrated me and my wife's birtday with cake and drinks 🍸 😄"

"We have just returned from our fourth visit to Atlantica Ocean Beach Resort, and once again it exceeded all expectations. Despite arriving very late in the evening, we received a warm and friendly welcome from the reception team. Arriving to find sandwiches and wine waiting in our room was such a thoughtful touch and set the tone for another wonderful stay. What truly makes this hotel stand out is its exceptional staff and incredible attention to detail. Every member of the team works tirelessly to ensure guests feel welcomed, valued, and cared for throughout their holiday. The resort is perfect for families, with plenty of sunbeds, great evening entertainment, and a beautiful beachfront location. The rooms are stunning, spacious, and impeccably clean. The all-inclusive package is simply outstanding, offering a fabulous selection of food and drinks of the highest quality. The chefs deserve tremendous credit for the variety and standard of cuisine throughout our stay. A special mention must go to restaurant manager Efie, whose warmth, smile, and genuine care ensure every guest feels looked after. Guest Services are exceptional and always go above and beyond. Thank you to Katherine and Maria, who made us feel more like family than guests. We would also like to thank the Reservations Team, especially Andres and Maria, for arranging the amazing suite overlooking the beach. Waking up to those views every morning was unforgettable. Finally, a huge thank you to hotel manager Spiros, who seems to work around the clock ensuring every guest has the best possible experience. His passion, professionalism, and personal approach are reflected throughout the entire resort. Atlantica Ocean Beach Resort continues to set the standard for what an all-inclusive holiday should be. We are already looking forward to returning for our fifth visit."

"I loved this place. It was a 3 stop bus ride from our hotel (Sunny Suites) but well worth it. The service was impeccable (blond lady), very polite and efficient. The menu isn't what you would find in the big restaurants but was what I wanted at the time (fancied a burger), and that's the sort of stuff they do (think cafe food, omelettes, burgers, fries, salads, etc. Lovely bar and seating area with the cutest kitty you've ever seen. She was looking for a home for it at the time. The prices are good too-much cheaper than other places although the food is good quality and speedy service. I had dessert of cheesecake which was extra special. Seek this place out please as many don't seem to have heard of it."
