After travelling Croatia for the past month and staying at some of the best boutique hotels, we returned back to Luxury Hotel Riva. This is our second stay at this oasis of luxury, warm hospitality, amazing food, exceptional amenities, comfortable rooms and suites, fabulous spa and wellness facilities. I could go on as it was flawless in delivering an exceptional guest experience. The staff in every area of this hotel elevate the experience to sheer perfection. You begin to feel like family that they are welcoming to their home. Definitely consider getting the half-board both the breakfast and dinners are plentiful and carefully prepared. The menus are innovative and use local ingredients and must say that these are the best evening dinners that we enjoyed during our trip to Croatia. If you are coming to visit the Malinska area or the Island of Krk and need a home base, do not hesitate to stay at Luxury Hotel Riva. We are already planning a return! It is an absolute gem of a boutique hotel that should not be missed.

Luxury, excellently managed family hotel. Geat staff, kitchen, wellnes, fittnes. Very big and clean rooms. Really spacious bathroom. Right by the sea and beach. I highly recommend half board. Excellent local wines. Underground secure garage

Excellent. The staff, service, food, comfort, cleanliness. It exceeded all our expectations. The beds comfotable too. Rooms are really big and beautiful. The pools nice, towels at hand. Would recommend. Breakfast with everything you desire and dinner really surprisingly tasty. Exceeded all expectations.

This Luxury hotel was opened in 2019, and is located in the centre of the Malinska on the Island of Krk. Because it was opened so recently, everything is very modern and quite new. I do not have enough superlatives to describe our stay here! Firstly our suite was superb, with an extremely comfortable bed, extraordinary soft shower, two sinks, a bidet and heated towel rail. The room safe was enormous! Our balcony had a private jacuzzi and loungers with a beautiful views of the sea. The hotel facilities include a fabulous spa, fitness centre, indoor and outdoor pools and several different types of saunas including an Adult view sauna. The property does not have a business centre, but the ever helpful reception will reconfirm your flights. The staff were attentive, helpful and empathetic, and the service everywhere was outstanding. We have stayed at many 5* resorts world wide, but I can't remember any where your breakfast table is chosen for you according to room number, but the excellent breakfast compensates for this. Would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend anyone to do the same! Well done!!!

It is a beautiful hotel in heart of Malinska. Rooms are large and beautiful. Bed is perfect. You can Stay in it. all day. Service is great. From recepcion to restaurant staff. Only one thing. Morning during breakfast you can not sit where is empty table you have your table by Room number. This never happened to us before in 5 star hotel. Breakfast was great.

Zum dritten Mal eine tolle Erfahrung, haben dieses Mal eine Juniorsuite gebucht. Der Ausblick war mega schön, die Suite war groß, sauber, Betten bequem, Frühstück eine 10/10 vielen Dank an alle Mitarbeiter, kommen sicher wieder

Eigentlich alles sehr gut. Location, Fitnessbereich, house-keeping, freundliches Personal. Allerdings ist das Restaurant eine Katastrophe. Viel zu wenige, völlig überforderte Servicekräfte, Essen sehr schwach - um es mal freundlich auszudrücken. So etwas darf es in dieser Preisklasse nicht geben. Ich empfehle mal einen Betriebsausflug ins Hotel Bellevue auf Losinj. Das sieht man wo die Messlatte hängt. Wir jedenfalls nutzen das Hotelrestaurant des Riva nur noch wenn‘s sein muss. Und auch da hilft uns beim Frühstück kein Mensch. Weder wird das alte Geschirr abgeräumt, noch konnten wir uns ein Spiegelei bestellen. Die Angestellten können nichts dafür, die geben ihr Bestes. Das Problem ist schlechtes Management.

Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick gebucht. Das Zimmer und das gesamte Hotel waren sehr sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Auch der Service war aufmerksam und professionell – auf Allergien wurde beim Service sehr gut eingegangen, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Weniger positiv war, dass unser Zimmer nach kaltem Rauch roch und die Atmosphäre (insbesondere im mit Teppich versehenen Zimmer) insgesamt eher düster wirkte. Die Poolanlage ist gepflegt, bietet jedoch wenig Charme. Ein Wermutstropfen war ausserdem, dass wir den vollen Preis für vier Übernachtungen bezahlen mussten, obwohl wir zwei Tage früher abreisten. Die Vertragsbedingungen sehen das zwar vor, aber wir hätten uns hier (aufgrund der hohen Nachfrage an Zimmern in der Hauptsaison - das Hotel war komplett ausgebucht) etwas mehr Kulanz gewünscht. Fazit: Freundliches Personal, alles sauber und gepflegt, insgesamt aber kein Hotel für Ruhesuchende, die das gewisse Etwas suchen.
