"Excellent value for money. Booked a standard double & we were given a complimentary upgrade to a room with a beautiful view over the harbour & free mini bar (water, beers, soft drinks & snacks). The room was spacious & tastefully decorated with fridge, kettle, tea coffee. The staff were very friendly, we arrived late and were given glass of fizz on check in which was a nice touch. The hotel was fairly quiet being end of September so lots of space around the pool. The bali beds were great & always available, hotel provides pool towels. Food & drink reasonably priced for hotel, the pizza was excellent. Breakfast was great, eggs cooked fresh to order. Never had to wait for a table. Entertainment on various nights. Bus stops are right outside hotel although we didn't use public transport as we only stayed a few days but looked easy to access other resorts. Sits at the top of a slight hil, hence views,l but there are steps down to the harbour. All in all would recommend for the price paid."

"I went to Rafa Nadal Academy just by myself to have padel classes and enjoy some quality time. I felt really good! The padel classes were very good but the hotel exceed my expectations! The bedroom is super comfortable and spacious and the shower is very good. The spa is excellent, nice low light environment, very calm, with small pools differing in temperature, nice sauna and Turkish bath. I made several wellness treatments and I particular liked the beauty ones for the face 😍 The hotel has different restaurants named by the grand slams 😀 I had dinner every night and sometimes lunch, in the buffet one on the lobby level, I think it's the US open or Roland Garros... Anyway... The food was so good that even playing 3 hours of padel per day and making some gym trainings I got some weight on 😅 it's really good! And the waiters are so kind and friendly that I felt like being at home! I never felt alone! By the opposite, I felt secure and truly happy to have this time for myself! Can't wait to go back!"

"Rooms were lovely although I think designed by a man. No where to sit and put on your makeup and no privacy in the bathroom. I know the rooms are amongst the trees but to many spiders ever day in our room. Pool was freezing, not enjoyable at all. Fantastic selection of food for every meal. Staff were lovely, friendly and professional. Loved the buggies due getting around, was good when I couldn't face the hills"

"I don't normal write reviews of hotels, but I just got back from the Rural Son Mas with my children, and I was so impressed with the hotel I wanted to write a review. From the minute we arrived, everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The building itself is beautiful and has been thoughtfully restored. The grounds are phenomenal, and the view from the pool was lovely and so relaxing. Dinner in the evening was cooked to order and was delicious. So was the breakfast. If you are looking for a charming, family orientated hotel which is non corporate and very personal, I would totally recommend the Son Mas. We can't wait to return."

"The hotel is lovely, and a great setting/views. Animation team are brilliant, cannot fault the team. They work hard and are great entertainment. It was our boys birthday and they all sang happy birthday and got him a little present. Sweetest gesture. The Lion King show was absolutely brilliant, well done! Dennis the customer relations guy is really good and very helpful. All the hotel staff are very good. The pools are cold, but once your in, you get use to it. Always sun beds available, though it did get busier so can’t imagine this place in the height of summer! Negative - water park is height restricted and no where did it say this. We had a very upset boy. Height for slides is 1.2 meters. Sea views are amazing. Food was ok, quite repetitive but there was always plenty of food and we made do with our fussy children. Token for a drink system was a bit of a surprise but we get it, helps keep the place tidy so no plastic cups laying around everywhere. Negative - The photography on site - very expensive and very pushy! Shame… Rooms - one bedroom sea view apartment. 2 singles in bedroom pushed together, and sofa bed in living area. Suitable, and worked for family of four. View was incredible to wake up to every morning! Cleaned daily and fresh towels when required. Beaches walking distance, best beach being Cala anglia which was a little further about 25 min walk along the coastal pathway. Would highly recommend this hotel and would go again. (But not in the height of summer, the place can hold A LOT of people!)"

"Fantastic trip with family we have just returned from a weeks stay in this lovely place ! We were previously booked into another hotel but was changed due to hotel not being available so glad as this place was in perfect setting our apartment was allocated on the 5th floor and baloney was on back road so got sun till late afternoon. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful,rooms are spotless very spacious well equipped if you want to eat in . Bathroom is huge so you’re not in a small space to get ready. The pool area is lovely and was never crowded. We would definitely recommend it to anyone whom wants to be in the marina area close to other restaurants the views are amazing. Very cosmopolitan place it definitely brings people back to the hotel as there was a few repeat visitors. Definitely worth a visit!"

"Everything was more than adequate, but I missed the fact that the kitchen wasn't open until 3:30 p.m., meaning you couldn't dine and had to go to a restaurant in Portocristo, which is a real inconvenience if you're there for work. Otherwise, I highly recommend it."

"My son did the Summer Tennis Camp for Juniors. This was his first time in RNA, but definitely the last one. The whole facility is amazing- it makes you think about sport, feel like a sports player (even if you are not), and everything is made with the thought to encourage all to love sport and have a great time. The hotel is top-notch, the facilities are amongst the best in the whole world. The children's programme is motivational, inspirational and at the same time fun for the kids. A place you need to go if you are raising a small champion, or just love sports, or simply want some peace and tranquility."

"Where to start… We had the best stay here from start to finish! Rose Prosecco on arrival, massive smiles from all the staff welcoming their guests. The hotel is kept clean to a very high standard! I travel 5star 4-5 times a year and myself and the rest of our group were very surprised of the high standards. Breakfast,lunch and dinner was superb! All kept very fresh and hot with lots of choice! The drinks were all very good, and the bar staff very attentive. My only issue would be the room size, it was a bit on the small size with no storage for your cases once you unpack,but not a problem as the rest of this fantastic hotel with its grounds and stunning cove beach makes up for it! Would thoroughly recommend and will be returning in September …."

"I was unsure about staying at the Arcos Plays having read some very negative reviews. I am pleased to say we had a very good stay at the Arcos Playa in a large 2 bedroom apartment . The building is not a new state of the art block of apartments so expect it to be quite basic but still provide everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The 2 separate bedrooms were clean and well furnished, as was the lounge which led onto a nice street facing balcony. There is what is best described as a basic kitchenette , but we hadn`t gone on holiday to cook . The public areas of the apartments are clean and well presented, with comfortable furnishing. The evening entertainment amounts to bingo, quiz or karaoke ......it is not a professional show. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One small negative that didn`t affect us was out apartment on the 3rd floor with no lift ,which would not be good for guests with mobility restrictions. The location is very good, only a very short walk to a good beach. There are shops and restaurants in S`illott and many more in Sa Coma which is less than a 10 minute walk away. I intend to stay at the Arcos Playa again in 2026. It could well be that things get a little chaotic during peak season but for an off season break it was ideal."
