"My wife and I are very disappointed at Rafa Nadal’s summer camp. We took our 8 year old son for 1 week non boarding and experienced the following to name a few: - on the last day when they had the field trip my son got lost from his group and he was left behind. He asked other monitors for help but instead they took him to a room to watch TV with all the other kids that were sick resulting in my son getting sick 3 days later. I wonder what controls they have so that the kids don’t get lost? - when I arrived and asked what had happened they started coming with different excuses: first they said my wife had sent an email asking that my son doesn’t go on the field trip (I’m still waiting to see a copy of such an email which is a lie), then they said that my son had said he wasn’t feeling well which I asked my son and he never said so, then they told me it was my responsibility to take him to the meeting point at the time of the field trip which is also incorrect, etc. - communication was extremely poor. The schedule I was provided had the wrong pick up times and everyone had a different answer. - It was impossible to get times that were correct which resulted in wrong pickup times and my child left waiting. - the kids spend 10 hours a day and no one tells them to reapply sunscreen. My son came home sunburnt the second day. His bag with his swimsuit and change of clothes somehow got lost and although he asked for help to find it, no one helped him to locate his bag and ended up swimming in the pool in his tennis clothes, no goggles, no sunscreen and no towel. I picked him up at the end of the day soaking wet. In summery, I expected the academy to be professional but instead they’re a bunch of young kids running this camp. This place is the the epitome of incompetence. Lastly, although they know of my grievances they did not bother to call to see how my son is doing. These things were noticed by me because my son was a day camper. If my child was boarding I may never find out about these occurrences. "

"Rooms were lovely although I think designed by a man. No where to sit and put on your makeup and no privacy in the bathroom. I know the rooms are amongst the trees but to many spiders ever day in our room. Pool was freezing, not enjoyable at all. Fantastic selection of food for every meal. Staff were lovely, friendly and professional. Loved the buggies due getting around, was good when I couldn't face the hills"

"Staying at the Arcos Playa annex building and the main restaurant/cafe is just across the road. The breakfasts are served until 1 and are great value for money €7 per person inc tea juice or coffee. Today we had lunch and three meals (burger and chips and salad and a drink) was only €25. It was filling and the service is impeccable (big shout to Martin) If you're in S'illot give this a try you'll not be sorry."

"Very disappointed with the restaurant's new concept. We have been coming to Rotana for years to eat and loved the small seasonal menu. The restaurant was by far one of the best on the island... now they have pizza, burgers and spaghetti bolognese??? Even the "normal dishes" are no longer what they were six months ago. Unfortunately, the service has become even more rude and snappy. A real shame!!"

"I was unsure about staying at the Arcos Plays having read some very negative reviews. I am pleased to say we had a very good stay at the Arcos Playa in a large 2 bedroom apartment . The building is not a new state of the art block of apartments so expect it to be quite basic but still provide everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The 2 separate bedrooms were clean and well furnished, as was the lounge which led onto a nice street facing balcony. There is what is best described as a basic kitchenette , but we hadn`t gone on holiday to cook . The public areas of the apartments are clean and well presented, with comfortable furnishing. The evening entertainment amounts to bingo, quiz or karaoke ......it is not a professional show. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One small negative that didn`t affect us was out apartment on the 3rd floor with no lift ,which would not be good for guests with mobility restrictions. The location is very good, only a very short walk to a good beach. There are shops and restaurants in S`illott and many more in Sa Coma which is less than a 10 minute walk away. I intend to stay at the Arcos Playa again in 2026. It could well be that things get a little chaotic during peak season but for an off season break it was ideal."
