"The price I paid for my order included a RM10 tourism tax, why did the front desk charge me another RM10? In addition, the breakfast for a child (10 years old) needs to be supplemented by one person, shouldn't the child be half price?"
"The ratings given are in the context relevant for a CHEAP BUDGET hotel.
I have rated Hotel Lam Seng as GOOD overall for a CHEAP BUDGET hotel.
Pantai Remis is a typical small Malaysian town where the different races live side-by-side and each goes about with their lives in relative harmony."

"Arrived around 2.15pm and the check in was smooth. They collected deposite RM200. Spacious and modern villa (semi D). both villa can connect using connecting door if you in large family. If you stay in apartment area then the pool is nearer. Overall it was a good experience. Monkeys will come around but they dont disturb you."

Very Good
GGuest UserA little dated but still a beautiful private island. The place is big with shuttle service privided. Ongoing renovations at some places. Lots of good food, large portions. Most staff were friendly. Do note that speedboat is chargeable unless you book the hotel room directly with them. Will visit again in the future.
TtyleeLocation perfect just across the beach and close to the jetty. Value for money. Simple buffet, decent hospitality. The room is spacious and nice view of the sunset. The facilities maybe abit old, but the service try their best to make up for it.
IIskandar HidayatTruly good place to stay with its own private beach. The Pasir Bogak Beach is not that crowded like Teluk Nipah Beach. But, if u want to feel the scenery at Teluk Nipah, u can take a 5 minutes ride on scooter & the pink van.
YYoke WahThis hotel is convenient because behind the hotel, there is a supermarket to shop and a few doors away, there is a famous bakery shop, and also lots of eateries.
SSafwanNice place for family vacation.
Have a private beach at the back
Pool is very big and suitable for kids also
Nice sea view room
Overall are good and recommended!!
Close to place for shopping is important
RrichlyanaOverall the situation of the resort is ok, but the room that i got is end to the area plus its quite small
Other than that, pls change the bed that already old because its painful to feel the spring of the mattress . and plus put something to hang the cloth.tq
NNaz Kamala quick one night stay with affordable price. one way to teluk nipah. not so distance but need transportation to get from jetty to the hotel. comfy bed, clean shower. coffee, tea & hot water at the lobby, but accessable up to 10:30 p.m. only. there's duty free shops, convenience store nearby - just a walk away.
AAnlimPros: Clean, comfortable beds & pillows, white towels quite thick for a budget hotel, strong water pressure, reliable hot water, quiet surrounding, has a good drinking water machine where we can refill our tumblers. Has a clothes line in the bathroom. Room door uses sensor key. Can control room air cond temperature.
Cons: When someone in the next room showers, the noise of the water is very loud. Shower area not separated from toilet area so the floor gets wet but luckily the bathroom is large so there is still a small area that does not get wet. No lift. Only street parking where you have to pay. Security not good enough. Anyone can enter & go up to the rooms. The receptionist won't know unless they stand up as they sit behind a high counter.
SSyzLnMy family and I went for a staycation to Teluk Batik. It’s quite near to the beach. There are a lot of parking but make sure you download “Park@Perak” apps to avoid from “kena saman” 😅. Overall the room is quite spacious but unfortunately my room got no mirror in it. Just one mirror in the toilet. The room is also convenient for my family to stay. Overall 3.5/5
