Our family absolutely loved this place. We saw more wildlife at Tulemar than at the national park. There were monkeys and sloths and iguanas every day. The staff is all top notch. We brought our 3 young daughters here who are learning Spanish to experience Costa Rica. The staff all spoke English but they made it a point to help the girls and speak Spanish to them. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Our concierge Miguel was amazing and helped us with everything on our wish list. The beach is amazing. And we met two incredible people that worked at the beach. David and Kaylee. These two treated us like we were family and made our trip extra special. Boogie boards for the kids. Kayaks. A chair in the sun or the shade. The beach was very special and our daughters spent hours in the waves. I would highly recommend Tulemar to everyone. Great location. And a truly amazing staff. Sebastian and Stewart were also very accommodating and made my daughters more confident to speak Spanish. We loved it all.

We went to Tulemar for our honeymoon, and it was way better than anything we could've imagined! This is hands-down the BEST resort! The personal concierge, shuttle drivers, and all staff were so nice, friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. The rooms are perfection, and we saw tons of wildlife (monkeys, sloths, iguanas, etc.) around the resort, out our bedroom windows, and from/on our personal balcony! Tulemar takes care of everything for you- making your trip the most stress-free, relaxing, yet FUN vacation ever!

Our family visit to Tulemar couldn’t have been nicer. There were 4 adults & 2 teenagers in our group. Fabio, our concierge, took care of everything! He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Fabio booked all the excursions for us which included a nature walk with a guide (fabulous), zip lining, whitewater rafting ( fun!) and surfing lessons for the kids. He also booked dinner reservations for us and the van ride to & from the airport. The house we stayed in was gorgeous. The view from our terrace was glorious—in the middle of the rain forest with a view of the ocean in the distance. Our housekeepers came every day and kept the house immaculate. Guillermo was the chef. He prepared 3 meals for us that were outstanding. One of the best parts of the trip! Seeing the animals in the wild was truly exciting. The monkeys visited our balcony often! From start to finish our visit to Tulemar was the best family vacation we ever had!

Our family of 6 stayed in a villa at the resort. I did not know what to expect but suffice to say the resort was beautiful and maintained extraordinary well. Our host Fabio was nothing short of superb. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. Monkeys, parrots, sloths and tropical birds every day. We hired chef Guillermo who was fantastic. The housekeeping crew was fantastic. The only thing better than the resort, was the friendliness of the people and the beauty of Costa Rica. Perfect 10 vacation

We had a fabulous family vacation at Tulemar Resort! The resort is gorgeous with a picturesque beach. We had numerous squirrel monkeys at our house one day having the time of their life wrestling around and also saw them throughout the resort, including at breakfast. We saw sloths almost every day on the property as well as howler monkeys. The service at Tulemar is tops! Jorge set up all of our activities and restaurant reservations in addition to answering my many questions throughout our stay. All of the drivers at the resort are kind, friendly, and always hustling. We would love to return!

For the third year in a row Tulemar does not disappoint! We went as a family of 7 and stayed at Tule Villa (house). Our concierge Miguel is the best!!!! He organized multiple different tours with different amounts of people. He even surprised the in-laws with a 40th anniversary treat. A bottle of wine, balloons and a sign. Everything is amazing from the food which we almost always had delivered to the house from Tule Cafe and Victorias. Everything off the menu that we ordered was delicious. To the drivers that drove us around the property from the beach to the front office. To the house keeping and the maintenance who cleaned our private pool. And I can't forget the beach service people who give you towels, boggie board or kayaks. Everything was so great we have booked our 4th year for next year. Can't wait to get back!!!!!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We wouldn’t have had such a great experience without our attentive concierge, Jorge! Beautiful, lush landscaping surrounded our bungalow and we got to see white faced monkeys, howler monkeys, iguanas, and sloths right outside our balcony. The jungle pool was peaceful and clean and a very short distance from our room which was nice. We had many meals through Tulecafe which was delicious but also convenient. The resort provides a free shuttle if you don’t want to take the steep walk up/down to the restaurant or front office but don’t forget to tip your drivers! Definitely need it for the beach but where we were situated it was a manageable walk to the restaurant. Our concierge helped make our dinner, tour, and taxi reservations!

The Tulemar resort is top flight all the around. While the front entrance and lobby is unimpressive, the rest of hits on all cylinders. Of particular note was the all around service attitude of the staff. We rented the Tula Villa which provided ample bedroom and bath capacity while also boasting a private pool/hot tub and a very large exercise play room that came complete with regulation sized corn hole. The kitchen is were stocked with a large eating table. After a successful fishing trip we hired a local chef to serve up an incredible meal. A special call out to the drivers who bring you around the large resort (and its delightful hills). They are only a call away serve with cheer and helpfulness. Each guest is assigned a personal concierge who is also only a call or a text away to help with most everything. This is a great place to stay and play in this part of Costa Rica.
